Michalanney blanketed Holman for 3/4 quarters, was pretty good. Milera took another step. Keays tried his heart out.

3 of those blokes are forwards and 2 are defenders..

it's just fxxkin amazing how so many around here mainly point the finger at our forwards and defenders.. when the problem is the bloody midfield.

keays, sloane, laird.. got *n murdered by their opponents for large stretches of the game..

its the defenders who have to deal with that and the forwards who get no supply.. yet they are the ones that get panned and the real spuds that caused it get a free ticket to next week!

Murray, Keane/Butts, Worrell, Redman, Max, Jones. We will be better with that structure. Hinge on a wing or out. Doedee will probably leave. Smith probably passed it. We do need a elite mid as well though.

Didn’t get enough razz out of Soligo and Pedlar tonight. Both tough little nuts, tonight’s game should have suited them perfectly. Maybe they weren’t played in the spots we needed them but only 9 & 10 disposals out of them isn’t enough.

Rebuilding isn’t linear and we’ll work out that players we thought would be part of it actually aren’t. For mine, ROB/Ned are just not going to get us across the line in Sep (whenever that may be). Keays is a donkey and costs us but tries so hard. Not sure what to do with him. We need to trade for a ruckman, get some games into Zac Taylor, somehow go all in on an A grade midfielder as we’re still short. Hopefully we can piece this all together within the next 2 years so we can catch the tail end of Tex.

Why..they wont allow us to replay our game because of the fix. The damage is well and truly done and any punishment to that piece of s**t umpire does not give us back anything...its job done for the AFL they got their shitty franchise closer to finals

Bloody hell..14.12 to 5.5 after we led by 35 points...says it all really...probably even worse effort than against the Dogs...

Terrible effort against a side unlikely to play finals, esp from midway through the 2nd quarter.

If we want to aim for 8th, but need to show more poise and determination in games if we want to become a better side. They easily get frustrated when they give away a couple of goals and it falls apart so easily.

Next two home games against awful West Coast and North sides will give us a chance and we play the Pies at the MCG inbetween and we have been competitive against the top sides. Just these mid ranked sides we struggle with.
