Good news guys

Major developments in Essendon 34 case ... Statement of grounds from WADA lobbed today .. Very detailed ..

Mark Stevens ‏@Stevo7AFL 52m52 minutes ago
Strong suggestion, I believe, that WADA could now call new evidence ... Feeling they may have new evidence on Ess 34 ..

Mark Stevens ‏@Stevo7AFL 51m51 minutes ago
AFL types tonight trying to get their heads around the statement of grounds ... Certainly a fresh twist, waters muddied a bit ...

Whichever way you look at it, threat of new evidence has to be concern for Ess 34. A bit to digest in document, apparently

To put it simply, strong suggestion from WADA in statement of grounds that it will be calling new evidence on Ess 34

I love how 5 minutes after WADA give something to Essendon/AFL the entire media in Melboune have access to it

Excellent. That's the spirit. I have been trying to come up with something for 'Time Warp', it being the signature number, but I have struggled, particularly with the chorus as you can see below:

(Narrator) It's just a jump to the left. = It's just a jab to the left,

(Guests) And then a step to the right. = And then you poke it in right

(Narrator) With your hand on your hips. = to get stronger hips

(Guests) You bring your knees in tight. = and make your muscles tight

But it's the pelvic thrust. = But it's the peptide rush
They really drive you insane. = that wins you the game
Let's do the Time Warp again. = lets do the dank juice again
Let's do the Time Warp again. = lets do the dank juice again

My effort.

Peter Gordons comments on ABC were interesting.

It seems a CAS appeal cannot happen if another party appeals to another body. An lo and behold rumours are circling that Dank will appeal to the AFL which will have the unfortunate side affect  of scuppering the CAS appeal.

It appears every single loophole possible will be used.

John Faine was pathetic in his appraisal - Haven't the players, the coach, the club been through enough :rainbow:. Please .

So presumably Australia's good honest boys are above the WADA code again. Attitudes to drugs in sport are truly pathetic in this country.

Barrett was saying on The Footy Show last night that Dank would appeal, and that this would have mean that the CAS appeal gets put back to possibly 2016.

It would not stop the CAS case entirely.

The case against the players can always be heard separately. They don't have to wait for Dank.

When I heard Gordon speaking this morning there is something that tells me the whole thing is being orchestrated centrally. It was basically just another person in the AFL trying to discredit ASADA and WADA by looking for flaws in the code.

The cats pres was very good and least pulled them up saying that we cannot simply let it go away because you think the club has already been penalised, the players have gone through enough, etc. making the point that it is actually more important that we protect all sports.

The case against the players can always be heard separately. They don't have to wait for Dank.

But the thing is, that if they hear them together, they can compel evidence from Dank, whereas if they hear them separately, I don't think they can. Will depend on their other evidence if this is a good idea or not.

That is an old article.

"Could drag on", "considering" - there is nothing concrete from the Essendon propaganda rag. They even say Young wants to put the case on hold until Dank decides to appeal formally, which he has to do by Monday. The CAS haven't even made a decision whether to hear the cases together, they certainly don't have to.
Sweet!

Another 12 months of Essendon been pulled apart, dragged through the mud, and sweating bullets.

Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of deluded, oxygen-stealing, shifty campaigners.

They are so brave......

Thought the AFL was responsible for OH & S at ALL GROUNDS
Hang on
This goes into the category of laying the blame on someone else.

Shouldn't the owner of the stadium be responsible for making sure that the stadium is fit for football.

Hate the powers that be all you like but don't blame them for ' insane bolts' appearing at the ground 15yrs after they started using it

Probably a good thing thing that the International Champions Cup isn't being played there - especially after the Real Madrid manager (Rafa Benitez?) criticised the MCG surface as being sub-standard!
