This game has completely shaken my expectation of this season. Was thinking 5-7 wins and some up and down form was realistic. Getting smashed by an unprofessional outfit likely to be in bottom 4 has left me soul searching a bit.

We found any positives from this game apart from Cameron McKenzie. 1/4 to find some hope.

Still think there's plenty:

• We won the first quarter which showed our best qualities
• Mackenzie looks a jet and quality disposals
• Worps looks really good in the middle
• Blanck has looked solid and done a lot of little things right
• Karl looks a really handy addition. Speed and good spread.
• Ward has had a very good game, and if had sunk the 2nd quarter goal, would be hard pressed as best on ground for us.

Main areas of concern/disappointment

• Forward setup looks a bit all over the place
• Bombers have dominated the middle after midway through the second - our rucks win taps, but we are out-roved
• Kozi just looked so out of it
• Will Day was very poor - his quality disposal was nowhere to be seen today
• Finn couldn't really lock up Merrett well
• Frost & Bramble look like liabilities down back and don't offer any good disposal out of our backline - which for Bramble, is why he's there. I'd say Bramble looks in real trouble.
