West Perth...what a pathetic effort.

A waste of electricity filming this game..

West Perth.....one team, one goal

Oh I know...it was wet. Hard to handle the footy cleanly.

Williamstown used loads of resin on their hands.

Defensive footy might be harming the AFL. But it's well and truly killed the foxtel cup.

As an experimental comp it should have experimental rules.

- Supergoals
- Play on off the posts
- 16 a side to save money for travel and free congestion
- Possibly 1 coaches review of a free kick inside 50m per game NFL style
- Goal umpires to be able to pay free kicks in forward 50 marking contests
- 3 players per team inside each 50m arc at any stoppage

- both teams have 10 players who are only allowed to handball and the other 10 who can only kick...the rest of the team has to play with one hand tied behind their back.

Maybe not all at once, however I completely agree that they should experiment with a variety of rule changes to see the results. 16 a side is a no brainer imo, many of the teams were reluctant to field strong teams in the earlier rounds, reduce the number on the ground and there were would be less battlers.
