Anyone think that with us announcing Lappin's replacement, that if it isn't Tapping, then it could be someone form Port or North given that they have just bowed out of the finals?

Had that thought too, the VFL and TAC cup grand finals are today so either could also be a possibility. Maybe a promotion from within and someone new in a development role?

I know we cut to save paying the tax, but it would be good if Buckley/the club could find a role for Sanderson. With a 7 figure payment it's not like Sanderson would be short of a quid or driven by dollars.

Funny you mention it, he took up that position at the conclusion of the 2011 season, we've struggled to get players back on the park for the duration of his tenure.

True... For all I know he's an excellent teacher! It's so hard to judge from the outside.

Over time results on the field might start to speak for themselves. For example I couldn't see much from our forward line that suggested Lappin was doing a great job. But on there other hand, he may be one of the reasons why Elliott played so well.

Elliot has raw talent, he would have turned it on regardless who was coaching him.
It's when the ones that don't have natural talent outperform themselves that you know the coaches are doing a great job, and we haven't seen anything on that front.

Bomber won't coach again. Makes me laugh when teams think they will get him. He has expressed numerous amounts of times that he has no desire in coaching again. He has nothing to prove and doesn't have the passion, and it definitely shows.
