He's been a bit unlucky today IMO.It's not like O'Keefe has done any better.

Regardless of how they bowled this match, on a good day Lyon is infinitely more threatening than O'Keefe. O'Keefe's just a dart thrower.
The only worry for Lyon is that Pakistan seemed to play him really well. Willing to give him another chance, but might O'Keefe be a better option in these conditions?
In any case, we can't keep the same balance of bowling attack. One of Siddle/Lyon/O'Keefe has to go, IMO.

Yeah, Lyon has earned that right.Yeah but if we were going to only have one specialist spinner next test I wouldn't pick O'Keefe
Neither is test standard as a bowler so pick the one that can bat and field betterRegardless of how they bowled this match, on a good day Lyon is infinitely more threatening than O'Keefe. O'Keefe's just a dart thrower.

Lyon is a test standard bowler. Jeebus, some short memories around here.Neither is test standard as a bowler so pick the one that can bat and field better
This team does one thing well- play aggressive cricket. We just don't have right players(batsmen in particular) to do anything else. It's worked so far, but when it doesn't it's going to be ugly. The fact that we haven't played a test for ages(and only had one practice game) doesn't help either.Well, so would I, I like to see Olympian levels of stonewalling but that's not the skipper's view or the coachesa, they seem to think it's unaustralian or something and quite frankly none of these guys are flexible enough to do it. Rogers has the natural game for it but none of the others do.
Out: Doolan, Marsh, Siddle, O'Keefe, Lyon
In: Maxwell, Hilfenhaus, Starc, ???
amidoingitrite guys?

SOK brings up his second hundred of the match.........not sure any bowler has done that on debut.

Could be
He took about 63 wickets too though
No hurry to declare, though - they'll only need 60 or so overs to bowl us out.Hoping we stall Khan for his ton.... why these buggers are still batting I'll never know.
We aren't chasing 400 against spin
