Yarran is absolutely over it. Doing some flashy things but playing with no care for the result. Get in his ear Eddie.

From a list management perspective and considering Walsh is building for a 2017 crack at a flag - is it worth giving up assets to secure the contracted Yarran at the end of this year or waiting until the 2016 and securing him for free as a free agent?

Would suggest it would be much more worthwhile giving up assets for someone who could become a gun midfielder (Aish) or a contested marking forward (Apeness) at the end of this year.

May have been mentioned already.
Garry Lyon said after the match that Bartel and other senior players will really be pushing a claim to stay in a side which will most likely add Dangerfield and Lachie Henderson next season...

Sounds like Geelong are trying to turn into the next West Coast. Great key position posts, but because they won't get Dangerfield, they'll have a mediocre midfield

Anyone know the contract status of James Stewart at GWS? Will be looking forward to him playing today.
Has anybody seen George Hewett from Sydney play? Ex-Sa boy that performed well at U18's Championship. With Sydney bringing in Heeney, Dunkley and Mills in last years draft and this years draft, I don't see him pushing into the seniors team. Seems to perform well in the reserves statswise. Could get him cheap.

Will not happen ......biggest front runner player in Carlton

You say front runner like its a bad thing. We need a front runner, downhill skier or whatever term you want to give an outside player with pace, class and fantastic footskills who sometimes goes missing.
No iam talking massively inconsistent ...Yarran goes missing in big games too often

If players like Gibbs and Murphy are off the table, then the Blues are totally a basket case deluding themselves that they can trade for top draft picks. They simple do not have the currency to gain more low draft picks to undertake a rebuild.

but that is their problem if their trade out one of Gibbs and Murphy their will be very short in experienced quality players needed to guide young players on and off the field with the expect retirements of key players and clean out of older players consider deadwood

Seen a lot of George hewett - yes he's a good player , and no he doesn't suit us as is another slower than average gun inside mid ... James rose is a better target but Sydney are barely allowed to trade currently

About the only experienced Carlton players I'd be looking at would be Yarran and Henderson.

Murphy and Gibbs are gonna cost way more than they are worth in my book anyway. Very different conversation if it is through FA.
