Autopsy Rd 18 Carlton v North Melbourne Post Match Discussion

Ahh well A few more names have red ink through them going to be funny watching the clean out in a few weeks hopefully the broom sweeps from the board to the cellar.

Any wonder why no Carlton fans turn up to our games when we dish this out week after week.

For the love of god, can anyone at our club get to teaching the playing group some sort of system or structure out on the field.

When we stop, it is sudden and complete, worrying signs.

Need some serious help with skill execution and game plans.

Norf not up to finals footy, we were worse than they were good. Going to be a long end to the season for both clubs.

Terrible embarrassing attitude problem team.

These same blokes three years ago would have been competitive, no heart.

Crippa, Boek, and Smith hopefully won't be dragged down to their level :(

The reality is were playing young and inexperienced players who are always up against it at best.

We don't have the cattle
We don't have the fitness
We don't or can't follow instruction
We are poorly skilled
We don't play for the jumper

What upsets me the most is given we are going nowhere this year why not play players in there correct positions

I think our biggest problem is our experienced players don't set a good example for our young players! Murphy really tries hard with little to no help so he isn't one of the bad ones, Jamo is a 1/4 of the player he was a few years ago, Rowe tries but doesn't give much, Yarran doesn't care enough, Hendo is thinking about where to buy in Geelong and doesn't care about us anymore, Carrazo is finish imo. Buckley Cripps Doc Levi (when we give him a chance) Kruzer 2e gave us something tonight.

Under Ratten we had a system, maybe it used to be called a down hill skier system, but it was a system for moving the ball none the less.
And because of that system we actually scored goals on a regular basis.

These days the players just run around the field looking clueless, these days we just kick the ball long to outnumbered team mates, these days we fail to get even the smallest spread out on the field.

My question is how did we get to a point where the entire team has no idea how to move the ball in a structured way?
How did we get to a point where our defence, midfield and forward lines don't know how to position themselves to win the ball?

Seriously, you'd be lacking brain cells if you want Yarran to stay. His body language says it all. Applying no pressure and doesn't give a stuff.

If only he could be traded right now.
