FTA-TV Sandy Roberts quits 7 and joins Fox.

His calling is absolutely delicious.

Quite possibly the best caller of our code at the highest level going around.

I loved Bruce before 7 lost the rights at the end of 2001, but since they regained it in 2007 he's become too loose and isn't as good as he was.

Just listening to his commentary now makes me remember just how good this superstar is.

Fox sports should really look at getting someone up and coming to replace Russell if they want to reduce the work load on Huddo and/or Sandy. Adam Papalia on 6PR comes to mind.

Know deep down Russell won't be going anywhere though .

Sandy must have been tearing himself up on the inside having to put up with the buffoon next to him today.

Sandy has been a tad disappointing this year on Fox as a commentator during games. I don't mind his hosting work on Friday Nights or Sat Arvos.

But he really needs Peter Landy or Drew Morphett next to him to compliment him with Russell Morris on the Boundary and John Russo giving comment on Umpiring calls.
