That's what is likely to happen, I don't see the point of playing all three of Christian, Holland and Stoinis. Surprised Harper got the promotion ahead of Ayre honestly.

Would have liked to include Short to bat at 6 and bowl offies though as a change up from the military mediums Christian and Stoinis deliver.

not sure Tassie are playing enough keepers
Tbf, Dunk hasn't kept in years, Doran is a Handscomb type at best and Ben McDermott isn't a great keeper anyway.

It's hard to remember that Dunk had scored 600 runs in 5 games before the big bash. Be interesting to see if he can find form again.

Tasmania have the 2 top run scorers and 2 of the top 4 wicket takers and sit a long last on the shield table!

I also thought Ayre was next in line, but looking forward to Harpers debut.

His glovework was poor under pressure unfortunately. May have been first game nerves but it's disappointing nonetheless.

Rain might play a big part on day one

Herald sun mentioning that they believe that cricket australia may pull james pattinson out of the match mid way through if they feel he gets a good enough hitout from the 1st innings.

Given he hasnt played a match since early January, surely he should be able to play the full game.
