Easy to get a good deal when a club has early draft picks and a player wanting to return home nominates the same club.
Clubs a rabble. Nobody to blame but themselves. Of course blokes will want to leave.
You don't see many wanting to "go home" from say Freo or Sydney.
Get your s**t together and guys will want to play there.

The trading of Brisbane this year is probably worse than than Freo at their worst- it has been breathtakingly bad.

Not really its not as if they offered good young players or good draft picks for players they where just on the receiving end of some very one sided forced trades.

Did they get in exchange any high picks? What has happened is that Brisbane just gave up and have feathered the nest of the Victorian clubs.

How would you have liked them to do it? There hands where tied they had to take what they could get. No club could have done better with the position they where in. They won one trade big time somehow offloading Karnezis.

Id say an absolute steal. Wish the tigers held out on hampson and jumped at this kid, I guess hampson was our man though.

Please he has just secured the second best young ruck in the AFL behind Nic Nat a 10 year CHB a strong bodied fullback and a starting 22 midfielder while keeping three picks in the top 20. Not to mention a 21 year old key forward a very promising ruckman last season. All the while drafting promising kids.
