Competition for worst fans in the comp still alive

http://www.sportsfan.com.au/the-worst-fans-in-the-league/tabid/91/newsid/170562/default.aspx

Not long after we praised West Coast fans for the tremendous respect they showed the Crows in the wake of Phil Walsh's death, they have reverted to type in the win over the Swans, booing future Hall of Famer Adam Goodes. Of course, booing Adam Goodes has been a constant this season at most grounds, but fans at Subiaco were definitely among the worst and Lewis Jetta's response was more than justified.

Eagles fans don't have a lock on being the worst fans in the league, however, after the Essendon fans disgraced themselves on Saturday night. Bombers fans' willingness to boo their own players has always had them on the nose, but their treatment of former player Paddy Ryder on Saturday night was truly horrendous. Ryder was a wonderful servant of the club and only left after he and his wife were terrified that he could have been injected with a substance that was potentially harmful to his child.

This wasn't simply a case of a player turning his back on a club for the offer of more money – this was a player, like so many of those caught up in the supplements scandal, who was used as a pharmacological guinea pig by the club without it being able to tell him what substances he was injected with. He was let down by Essendon, and rightly chose to get away from the place. Perhaps it is the fact that Ryder's exit highlights the hypocrisy of the other players at the club that are happy to play the victim card, yet stick with the club that wronged them, which so offends Essendon fans.

This bit belongs in the *Nods Head* thread:

"- Apart from the shabby effort by the Bombers fans mentioned above, coach James Hird continues to act in a graceless manner. Calling Paddy Ryder's match-winning last term 'lucky' was just churlish and immature – and unsurprising."

McKernan received four free kicks against him during the match, with coach James Hird admitting the ruckman was "unlucky" after the game.

Is there a bigger knob in the game at the moment than Hird?

Dermott Brereton and Rebecca Wilson have huge fight over Adam Goodes on Melbourne radio station SEN. news.com.au. July 28, 2015 6:43PM

Some wannabe know it all on life the universe and everything.
One who hates the AFL to boot. You know that whatever is the worse way you can read the Goodes situation is (every single person booing is racist), she'd take it. NRL lover who pots the AFL occasionally whilst pretending she doesn't hate the league.

Had to laugh at Graham Cornes on 7 news the other night, when he told Port fans to give up on their dream of September action, while singing Charlie Cameron's praises - virtually proclaiming him as the next big thing, after he tore the might of the Gold Coast Suns to shreds on the weekend. He's also excited by Camporeale's game plan: almost suggesting that he could be the Crows' new Messiah :)

Does Rebecca Wilson ever ask herself why the crowd isn't booing all the other Aboriginal players? Because if it was racism then they'd be booing them as well
Because they stick to playing football and don't antagonise the believes of middle Ameri.., I mean Australia.

McKernan conceded 6 free kicks in the previous game. This is always going to happen, umpires will in the main pay ruck free kicks to the recognised ruckman.

The real wrinkles is back... I bet he didn't mention how the suns lost there most influential player which helped them win the game.

or nor did he mention anything about Chad Wingard's current all australian form?

all media in this are flogs of the highest order!!

If it means they give Camporeale OR Worsfold the job then I'm very happy about that type of reporting!

So what is he saying, the Crows "next Premiership Coach" had a shitter game plan and was playing players out of position? They want it both ways these arse hats, don't they?

Who is Rebecca Wilson?
Scummy reporter, lowest of the low. A hypocrite who attacks players for co-curricular activities whilst getting done for drink driving herself.
Her articles are the lowest type of journalism, she is the female Graham Cornes.
