Hopefully dusty agree to say a 4 x 725 , would allow us to bring in an extra good player

LOL. So dusty going to play two seasons @ $300k... whilst also delaying a million of what he is owed for 23/24... by a further 12-15 months (which will effectively cost him money)??

What planet are you on?

Understanding there were injuries, but Taranto played 16 matches this year which if he was a 2 first round draft pick player I would have thought this should still have equated to a top 10 finish.

So in last 5 years Taranto won the B&F in 2019, was 8th in 18 and 4th in 21, with a finish outside the top 10 in 20 (11 games) and 22 (16 games).

Hopper was 10th in 2018, 3rd or 4th in 19, 20 and 21 and outside the top 10 in 22 (7 games).

Feeling better we should not have to give away all our draft capital for 2 years plus players to get this done. Personally hoping it can be 2 picks, understandably first round) and a player or 2 first round and 1 second round.

Yeah, 2022 first, 2023 first and 30 is enough.

Considering how much money we are coughing up and their age. They are not spring chickens anymore and long 7 year deals GWS does not have to worry about

You realize this will never happen , Our argument falls apart when the opposition ask you then why are you paying them $750k x 7 years if thats what you believe thats all they are worth.

Taranto is worth a pick #5-#10 every day of the week and just 24 years of age with 8/9 years of football left
Hopper is easily worth a pick #10-#15 and thats only due to being injured in 2022 otherwise same as TT

If we get anything back from all our picks #12+#19+#30+F1 (keeping in mind they will all go back 2-3 spots)
consider that a bonus

You do not support Richmond, the way you post in favour of other clubs

You do not support Richmond's success.

You support Richmond going through the motions and becoming midrange as if you work for AFL HQ

Lol Magic... isn't this a bit rich coming from yourself? A bit of self reflection and introspective thought would go a long way before posting I would have thought.

That's a crappy barb to throw at someone. Maybe's he's a realist... * me, we need more of that around here

How does Brisbane get the Dunkley deal done ?
They hold picks #15 , #33 , #34 (McStay Compo) , #44 , #69 plus F1 next year

Ashcroft & Fletcher as father sons expected to be top 3 and top 20

If thy trade out #15 + F1 then they wont have enough points for 2 father sons as their picks #33 , #34 (McStay Compo) , #44 , #69 total to be 1500 points

Pick 12 & 30 for Taranto with a 3rd rounder coming back our way.
Next year's first and second for Hopper plus a future third coming back our way.
I doubt any players are involved but if they are the latter draft pick would not be included.
u normal

thats full reamage

Plus they can’t stockpile picks unless they have the list space open

At the very least, they will go into points deficit eating into next year's picks.
It will be interesting to hear the media narrative on the trade value for Dunkley.
Where I'm sitting, it will be tough for them to get it done unless they lose a good player (apart from McStay)

That will be an interesting watch and see considering that Ashcroft will be a 1st round bid (top 3) their point deficit would need to be in the 1st round in 2023 but if they have to trade that out then how does the deficit work ?

Does #15 + F1 satisfy the Dogs for Dunkley who would be top 5 in the doggies B & F this year and the same age as Hopper
