Those top 10 picks would've been nice....
With the benefit of hindsight, keeping SJ for season 2015 did nothing for us. But it was Stevie J who rejected the offer at the end of 2014, wasn't it?

Must have been an extra special performance that last bit, to win him the Coaches Award.;)
The 'Coach's Award' - for the player nominated by the coach as most likely or next to be delisted?

Yep was over in the US playing golf at the time and due to the late nature off the offer wasn't in a position to make such a life changing decision in time left

As per the article regarding his decision to join GWS:

In the days leading into the trade deadline last year Johnson was offered a five-year deal by GWS that included playing and coaching.
He was in America on a golf trip and never had enough time to seriously consider that offer.
That deal would likely have seen Geelong attain pick 4 for the Geelong star.

I found this line interesting from the article - The Herald Sun understands the deal will be for at least two years and allow him to either play for that tenure or move into coaching in 2017.

Surely the odds of Stevie coaching in 2017 have to be greater than the odds of him actually playing that year - he may well get a 2nd year out of his body at a new club, but it could be a risky move by GWS.

Um he won the coaches award. Sounds like Johnson was great at following team plans. In fact a leader at it going by the award.

Stop making stuff that is so obviously wrong to justify your view, particularly when it involves belittling a club champion. For shame.
It's called an opnion

If you want to carrying on go right ahead, it's hardly making stuff up.
