CFS advises that a bushfire at Sampson Flat in the Mount Lofty Ranges near One Tree Hill, Humbug Scrub, Para Wirra Recreation Park, Mount Crawford, Kersbrook, Gumeracha, Kenton Valley, Cudlee Creek and Inglewood may threaten your safety. The SAMPSON FLAT fire has hot spots with the potential to ignite unburnt ground within the perimeter of the fire in the following areas: Humbug Scrub Road in the vicinity of Para Wirra Recreation Park; Gorge Road between Torrens Hill Road Paracombe and Cudlee Creek Road Cudlee Creek; and Cudlee Creek Road Cudlee Creek to the intersection O’Dea Road. Fire resources and support agencies continue to work in these areas. The entire perimeter of the Sampson Flat fire may have active hot spots. Whilst some roads have been opened to residents, the public must remain vigilant for potential or existing hazards. Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. He's been trying to get into Parliament for years. After getting about 300 votes in the 2010 SA election he spent months on AdelaideNow screaming the election was rigged because he didn't get in.

While Sunrise has been blasted for ignoring the bushfires, I don't think this one is entirely their fault.

Also, anyone else find it ironic that channel 10 has been providing the most conprehensive bushfire updates.

Exactly what I thought probably happened.
 

Its very true. Sunrise have apologized for their SMS cancelling, not reaching him due to him being in the fire ground rescuing animals, out of range.

Thing is that one lone sms still hasn't arrived. Sunrise screwed around alot of people who took time out of rescuing animals in the hope publicity would see help with donations of food water and shelter.

It is a piss poor effort from Kochie and his team.
