Draft Expert Knightmare's 2021 Draft Almanac

Knightmare, thoughts on where Arlo Draper might go? The Crows have primarily targeted SA based players and with pick #4, are well out of the race for Horne-Francis. As well as this, outside of the top 3, the talent in the draft evens out so maybe the idea of trading down from #4 and even using...

Apart from #4, that's a lot of mayo on what were several mark - set shots <25 metres out :) Absolutely agree with the other points you've made though. Can't wait to see him at AFL level, even if he may not quite have the tank he needs to play out 10+ games from here this year.

I just checked the P4P Ring rankings and Usyk is #4, wtf? Must be something to do with counting his CW record, squeaking past Chisora puts no one anywhere near P4P.

It's a cumulative effect. In 2010 we finished 11th. Instead of getting pick #6, we get pick #14, because of all the GC draft picks. In 2011 we finished 14th. Instead of getting pick #4, we get pick #10, because of all the GWS draft picks. In 2012 we lost our 1st and 2nd round draft picks due...

Easily the best option we have to bat at #5 or #6 in a T20 IMO. Well at least if the selectors persist with Maxwell at #4, personally I would bat Maxwell lower, Langer had him pegged correctly when he first took over. The top run scorers are all openers in T20, you can't use stats to pick those...

    Opinion 2020 Draft #2: 1/9/22/23/40/80 (2021 + Melb 2nd, Haw 4th, Freo 4th)

It's worse than that... What you suggest makes sense if we're trading down to pick #3, where we're at least guaranteed one of the top 3 will still be on the table. At pick #4, there is no such guarantee... and the odds are pretty damn high that the top-3 will all be gone.

OK ...I'm a logical sort of guy, but this logic escapes me Hollands a risk at pick #1 due to an ACL ......so he apparently slides to pick #4, where he's not a risk ? Last year Brodie Kemp was touted as a #9 or #10 ......he slid to #17 CARL , which makes sense on a risk v reward level...
