Best 10..rofl. You are dead set kidding, what does Dyson have apart from run quick? Becuase Bolton could run remember and he was crap. Dyson can't kick effectively, regularly misses targets and has zero defensive pressure...yep a player definately top 10..

Slightly off the Ricky Dyson thing, one of the 3 things we do need this season is to get more game time and training into Merv's son. Big Jay has talent! Looks unfit and a little lazy at times but they probably go hand in hand, but nobody can doubt his apparent talent.... He was pretty ordinary early in the game but as it went along he grew with confidence. Will be interesting to watch his development but looks like a player who feeds off the players around him so he needs to be in the seniors feeding off the best players we have and competing against the best players in the country and you don't do that playing Frankston in the VFL!

We have got a young up and coming list.

And as was mentioned, we beat Carlton by 16 points not long ago.

If we were talking about trades for draft picks there would be a list of untouchables much like Collingwood's of the mid 90s re: Buckley.

8. Scott Gumbleton
9. Jay Neagle
10. Darcy Daniher

12. Alwyn Davey

That doesn't leave us with much trade bait, Mcphee, Stanton, Watson (Lloyd, Lucas, Michael, Fletcher, Johns, JJ, Pev forget about it). Stanton and Watson could secure round 2 picks and Mcphee a 3rd round pick. I personally wouldn't want to trade Watson but tough decisions need to be made.

We need a full-back, I don't think Pears or Ryder will hold down that position. I would throw Stanton at a 2nd round pick for a decent full-back prospect.

Stanton was a 1st round pick, and one of the better picks of his draft. What a ridiculous call asking for a 2nd rounder for a 21 year old who has proven he will make a solid contributor to AFL football. In a few years time when we rise back to the top you will think "what the hell was I thinking getting rid of Stanton!"

QUESTION: Could Knighter's dynasty be better than Sheeds?

ANSWER: quite possibly, remember Sheeds didnt win his first flag til his 4th year, but reached a Grandy in his 3rd. Knighter is on track for that. Theres no doubt, when up and running, a dynasty will form. Hopefully we can do this while Lloyder and Lucas are still around
