Another Scorer playing SF who has a gay voice and looks gay - check

Bogut.. i will cut him some slack since his Australian, got potential but gee he needs to start playing like a #1 pick and at least average 15/10.

heard rumours that rj is gay. i thought it was just me who though that!

dont give bogut any slack cause he's an aussie, although his stats post all star game were awesome!

You'd think Villanueva would be gone by seasons start, depends what they pick up i guess... but i doubt he'll be there under Scott Skiles

In my mind Bogut is terrible, it is probably because the 5 bucks game i watched are featured a struggling Bogut, and i thought he was way off from 15/10 :p.

I haven't heard the RJ = gay rumour, but all you have to do is look at him and hear his voice, it is obvious he is gay.

50 win? Not a snowflakes chance in hell. Consider we only had 26 wins last year and we still have the same problems coming back, 50 wins is a long way off.

We have added Richard Jefferson (good move), Joe Alexander (acceptable), Scott Skiles (if he makes Mo Williams and Redd pass and play some D – will be OK) and the natural improvement in Andrew Bogut will not come close to double our wins outcome.

I would be ecstatic if we can have a .500 year and sneak into 8th place in the East. But i am expecting something like 35 wins and 47 losses would be about best we could expect.

As long as Mo Williams and Michel Redd are in the back court, we will have no defence or offensive chemistry. Both are shoot first ball hogs who regularly take bad shots add Richard Jefferson and Bogut goes back to the 4th option in the offensive.

To move forward Skiles has to trade Mo Williams and Michael Redd for a power forward and then have a starting back court of Ramon Sessions and Richard Jefferson, trade for a small forward with Joe Alexander in the 4 spot leaving Bogut in the pivot.

I just can't see them fitting into the eight to be honest.

You have the locks in
1. Boston
2. Detroit (as much as I hate them)
3. Orlando
4. Cavs
5. Wiz
6. Toronto

I reckon Atlanta are a shoe in as well @ 7..like the look of their list. My Sixers in at 7.

In the improving East, it's gonna be tough. Atlanta won an extra 7 games from 06-07 and I can see them easily a 50+ winning side. Philly won an extra 5 games, and with the extra experience earnt from this season, another 5-10 games wouldn't be hard

I wouldn't mind seeing Detroit collapse and not make the finals, but thats hard to see. Then you cannot forget Chicago and Charlotte, who can easily make the playoffs

I don't know, 1 more move shipping off perhaps Redd and Mo/CV and getting another quality starter, look at the Celtics, I'm not projecting that kind of propulsion but a different look can produce startling results, particularly with a new coach and a history of improving D as Skiles does.

One more quality trade for a big name and I'm getting on!!! :D

I cant see the Sixers making the playoffs again...Miller played out of his skin last season, and the 2nd half of the season when they went on that incredible run was just one of those sports things where everything came together at once. Everybody has had a season to scout them now, their young unknown kids are now known, and will be defended a lot tighter and I cant see them getting it done with this roster, as they still have time to recruit.

You'd have to think the Bulls will take the place of the Nets, and the Bucks would be pushing for the playoffs.

Well I been on board since ‘Ray Ray’ (Ray Allen) and ‘the Big Dogg’ (Glenn Robinson) were rollin’ with George Karl as coach but as long as Michael Redd and Mo Williams are in the back court – we are going nowhere.

Improved D? First move would be to get to play any D and i guess that would be a major improvement.
But yeah with one big quality trade preferably Mo or Redd and it will push us into the play offs but it will be nothing like bean town.

Baron for Redd would have been nice...

I get the feelings the back office still has a couple more moves it wants to make though...

Pacers missed by 1 game last season and have upgraded PG and C and added depth at SG and won't have to worry about changing the lineup every 2nd game to fit in JO and Tinsley coming or going with injury. I'm expecting them to finish ahead of Atlanta, the sixers and the bucks.

Why is Sessions so overrated? He played two good weeks last season when the season was already gone for the Bucks, good job.

Bucks won't even make play-offs imo. Boston, Cleveland, Pistons, Sixers, Washington, Orlando, Heat, Toronto(in no particular order) will beat them. I do hope Bogut does have a great season though and make the All-Star team.

He played well for the entire time he was on the team, why wouldn't he be rated? Did you actually watch him play or are you just looking for attention?

surely the sixers will be able to keep up with and beat teams like the wizards, rapters, atlanta and surely the heat, with the adition of elton brand, and with the young improvers in lous williams and thaddeus young and of course the marquee player andre iguadala i can see philly causing some head aches in the eastern conference

they got the goods

They will do Atlanta and Heat probably but those two teams could have big nights and beat them, Wade will be back properly next season and Atlanta have some nice talent also.

If the Raptors can get Jermaine O'Neal on court with Chris Bosh, Bargnani finally show something, they have a really good PG in Jose Calderon who was perhaps the biggest surprise packet of last season, Jamario Moon is a talent also.

If the Raptors get it together they will trouble a lot of teams, in fact with a bit of luck I tip them to be among the biggest improvers in 2008-09.

The Wizards, as long as Arenas, Jamison and Butler stay fresh, will also be difficult to beat for all but the very best teams. Sixers aren't amongst them.
