So you WC fans know a little more about these kids, Casserly is a little like a Joel Bowden HBF'er with more pace and obviously a bit less smarts (Joel is a gun in that regard). He had about 20 possies in a NAB game earlier this year and with Kelvin Moore looked to have taken the next step before injuries hit again and again.
His skills are not just silky, but he can hit teammates on the chest from 40-50m away - a rare ability. He's not a loud kid though so needs leadership to get the best out of him.
Dean Polo will make Richmond pay if we let him go...
You know how Daniel Kerr chased down that Sydney player in the final 30 seconds of a match the other year? He was clearly spent, but he saw a Swans player get the ball around 50 and Kerr ran his heart out and caught him holding the ball.
Polo is this type of player - through sheer will he forces the contest when everyone else has stopped running.
Would be great in finals (being a Richmond player he hasn't had a chance to show that though..

We find that funny too, which is why we are perplexed at offers of Polo and Casserly when we have even less list space than you.I'm sure a lot of them will, especially this year.
But due to Richmond's list containing a core of young players with a few quality seniors, we don't have anyone to delist.
We should have cut Pettifer, but he's been told he's staying. Polak and Cogs still on the list in the middle aged group. The rest are kids with potential so why cut them for more kids with potential at picks 50-70?
I find it funny that a lot of posters think garbage + more garbage = gold.
How about we trade you Hyde, Tivendale, Pettifer and JON for Daniel Kerr?
We can even throw in Casserly too if you say no.
(Understand where I'm coming from now?!)![]()

Sure. I should have listed that.
SEN just read out tomorrow's Herald Sun trade day 1 summary and that was the direct quote re: Seaby. Emphasis was added by SEN that there was NO interest, but I don't know if the HS does that too.![]()
Not really. You've just listed a whole bunch of horrific players. Where's the list space problem coming from?
Yes, we all understand. But you started the pissing war. I still don't understand how y ou can be so dismissive of pick 52 either. It's really not that bad a pick (maybe if your recruiting was better you'd have more confidence). If you want to play finals footy get used to having to use picks like that.
That trade is not nearly as unreasonable as many that have been suggested. I'd rather try and get a pick closer to the 22 that Seaby originally cost the Eagles however. Would Melbourne be interested in offering their second round pick for example ? (about 19 or 20 I think)The Eagles and Tigers have a pretty good relationship when it comes to the trade period.Pick 26 is about the right price for Seaby.Im sure common sense will prevail in the end.

Channel 10 just suggested West Coast want Richmond's first round pick, whereas Richmond are not even willing to give their second pick.

West Coast expecting a first rounder for Seaby?
They'll be lucky to even get a late second rounder for him.
The idea of offering a 3rd rounder is a bit insulting. If he's only worth that, he's not worth being at their club. Pick 8 is unrealistic too though. I think he's worth the second rounder.

Hes contracted... Even though hes not worth a late first rounder the offer of a third rounder is just insulting. A pick that at this stage unless we delist a contracted player would go unused.
That's the sort of offer where you tell Richmond they're not Collingwood, and we're not Freo - and if they want to play that game, they can piss off. After all, Seaby's happy to stay if we can't find a reasonable deal.
