You need to get out more, its how he plays not what he looks like, what size and shape do you think Woosha is, a ruckman
I've seen Cass play, and he plays nothing like John Worsfold. As for size and shape, Woosha was built like a brick shithouse, Cass is built like Luke McGuane.

Are you people dumb ?

We don't want your crappy Pick 52.

If you're not going to use it, what makes you think Richmond will? We are having trouble delisting three players let alone 4 or 5 since they are all young.

You're a moron if you think throwing in a pick nobody is going to use will tip the weights in our favour

God.

I hope you keep Seaby, he's overrated.

You currently have picks 8, 26, 42 and 58.

If you do trade pick 26 for Seaby as has been suggested, it will leave you with 8, 42 and 58 which you must use. I doubt us adding pick 52 would make a great deal of difference but it does get you a slightly higher 3rd pick and since we probably won't use it adding it helps you guys out a little without impacting us.

Not a deal clincher by any means more of a goodwill gesture I guess a bit like us giving Carlton pick 44 last year as part of the Judd deal.

The few times ive seen him Polo's looked pretty good to me....can get a hard ball AND do a job on another player (ala Stinger 05/06). Our midfield was terrible this year (yes we had injuries, but c mon to those saying he wouldnt be in our 22)....would be a good get IMO, if true.

ps. Seabs will be a very good no 1 ruck...possible win-win trade.

We seldom trade players for players - I expect and hope we would be looking for a draft pick for Seaby.

A straight pick 26 for Seaby would probably be fair enough - we may throw in pick 52 as well because it is unlikely we will use it.

I agree with you Keyser we don't want any Players just a draft pick simple , WE DON"T HAVE THE ROOM.

Haha, what is up your bum? I think some clubs will be using pick 52. You are a moron if you think no clubs are going to be using any of their picks beyond 50.

Some people on here seriously underrate how much Seaby steps up when he is the number 1 ruckman.

He is not half as bad as some are making him out to be.
Its staggering hey. He'd be great for us.

Simmonds' body is shot and it is intended that he will be moved forward.

He wasn't that impressive when shifted forward for Fremantle.

Wouldn't Richmond be better off developing Riewoldt or Hughes than playing Smmonds out of position as a stop-gap forward?

I thought Seaby wanted to go to a club where he was to become #1 ruck.

Now correct me if im wrong but Simmonds is better than Seaby.

Wanted to go to a club where he will become #1 ruck, or at least be given significantly more TOG, which of course he will at Richmond.

Seaby is going to show his real quality with this improved TOG, shame he got caught behind Cox. Same thing could've happened to Cox had Gardiner not been injured (I'm not in any way saying Seaby is on the same level as Cox).

Part time forward more part time ruck.

We need someone else to take the mantle of number one ruck.

Three tall forward line is what we will be after.

If we dont get a good deal then wce are keeping him...
so the cocky richmond supporters (cotch) thinking theyll get a good player for free can think again

I'm interested, but so far there's hardly a queue forming.... given he has said he'd like a trade (and yes I know he said it has to be OK for West Coast too) then he should accept his market value.... which is what the club offering most is willing to part with... thus far (day 1 I Knooooow) that's SFA...

I'm sure a lot of them will, especially this year.

But due to Richmond's list containing a core of young players with a few quality seniors, we don't have anyone to delist.

We should have cut Pettifer, but he's been told he's staying. Polak and Cogs still on the list in the middle aged group. The rest are kids with potential so why cut them for more kids with potential at picks 50-70?

I find it funny that a lot of posters think garbage + more garbage = gold.

How about we trade you Hyde, Tivendale, Pettifer and JON for Daniel Kerr?

We can even throw in Casserly too if you say no.

(Understand where I'm coming from now?!) :thumbsu:

Sure. I should have listed that.

SEN just read out tomorrow's Herald Sun trade day 1 summary and that was the direct quote re: Seaby. Emphasis was added by SEN that there was NO interest, but I don't know if the HS does that too.:)

I think will find that WC did not speak the media after the days efforts so there wouldnt have been much at all to report. Media relies on public statements at this stage of the game (see Laidley's comments on HMac sparking huge coverage).

Considering Tigers and Dees have publicly stated their interest I dont think we need to worry about that. Those along with Saints were reported as keen here in Perth.

Besides, we will happily keep him if a trade is not struck. Perfect insurance to Cox.

O well, if he isnt traded he just plays with WC for another year.. he has said he would not mind either way and I would like to see him get some decent game time with cox next year.

Im very surprised at the negative attitude by many Eagles supporters towards Dean Polo...i remeber this guy getting 3 brownlow votes in his first ever game of footy (how many kids can you say have done that?) and thinking he would be a gun...must be out of favour to get as little game time this year as he has had. And still very young, would be exactly the kind of player the eagles could use.

Seaby + 36 for Polo + 26 is a very fair trade IMO:thumbsu:

The issue is not so much on Polo's ability (but I could list many players who have good games and never go on with it btw) its the fact that we already have a truckload of not young average paced midfielders like Polo.

The whole Polo thing is a farce. I dont believe he is even in the thinking at all. Hasnt been reported in any half decent media source, not even SEN. We shouldnt even bother talking about him.
