That's a shame. If you're able to spend a couple of days there you'll find it worthwhile. It's clean, easy to get around, some fantastic sceneries, food is pretty nice, and shopping (especially perfume - ask my wife) is so cheap. We had a ball on our honeymoon there.

Oooh cheap shopping, didn't think about that! Yeah I'd love to stay there for longer but the point of the trip is to go to the UK/Europe, the Asian stopovers are just a bonus. One day I'll travel to Asia though.

Don't know anything about them, but you've got to stop in Singapore!!!

I'll probably stopover there on the way back, and I'll probably spend the whole time in the nearest Forever 21 store!

I flew KLM from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam and then to Oslo, and again on the way back. The air hostesses were really cute, the food was really nice, but pretty basic, the planes aren't amazing though (limited in flight entertainment). I found it fine. No problems or delays either.

Haha, well it's out of KLM or Malaysia airlines I think and I want to go to Holland, so KLM it is! I'll have my laptop with me anyway, it's got a decent battery life so I'll just watch DVD's on it for in flight entertainment.

I flew Malaysia from Melb > Kualu Lumpur and back and they were really good. That might have just been specific to the plane but the entertainment system was pretty pro. If I had to choose between Malaysia and KLM I would go Malaysia, just because of the in flight stuff. KLM is only better than Malaysia in the air hostess hotness stakes.
