First went about five times to put saw dust on his hands then faked an injury because he couldn't keep up with Hewitt, lol..

If Hewitt can't win because some guy to a rest...he doesn't deserve to win. Fact is Hewitt was too mentally weak to overcome the break and he's just a shit tennis player in general.
As much as I despise Hewitt, shit tennis players don't win two Grand Slam titles.
In the current day he isn't a very good player.
But the bloke was still world #1 for a period of time and won 2 Grand Slam titles. No matter how much you try and rationalise it, based on these facts, a shit player would have never reached that high to begin with.
It's like saying West Coast are a good football side because a few years ago they won a flag. Doesn't mean they aren't shit now.
You couldn't have chosen a worse comparison.

Like he said, you still have to be good to reach the heights that Lleyton reached.Mens tennis stocks were pretty low back then.
Yeah yeah different sports blah blah, the point being that he was once a great player. He isn't a great player anymore.
Mens tennis stocks were pretty low back then.
You know I had to read that twice cos I first read it as
Mens tennis socks were pretty low back then.![]()
