And add Pat Karnezis and Brad Harvey to the list although they're not Ruckmen or Key backs so it's hard to see which category to fit them. The magic number should be 88 invitees not counting the GWS boys.

Alex is expected to go as a forward. Can play both ends of the ground but I would doubt he would be taken by any club hoping to get a solid defender. He has had interviews with several clubs that have suggested as much.

This is true but if you look at the key forward combine list he's not on it. As he has played forward AND back no doubt he's been put on the key defenders list to even the groups up. Max Otten was tried as a key defender by Metro and was ripped to shreads, I wouldn't call him a key defender either but he's not on the medium defender or midfield list.

Exactly.

He did play all his games for Vic Metro as a back and lets face it, any young kid would be happy to be just on an AFL list even if it ment they had to play in their non prefered position.

I cant find the list and description of these guys on the AFL website (not suprised) yet. I honestly havent heard much about many of these blokes. Who are the stand outs?

Watson could be a potential 1st rounder if phantom drafts are any indication.

I'd just like to point out Seb Tape is an awesome name. Only three keys away from an epic typo.

cam o'shea hasnt played key back since i played with him in juniors??, he is a midfeilder lol if not that then a key forward

Listen kids, it's just a list, the mids and forwards have been named and O'Shea isn't one of them. He is however off to the camp and I have seen him play as a tall defender. Haven't seen him play in the ruck though and those are the only two groups left.

I saw Angus Litherland in the Claremont v East Fremantle colts semi final. He really is a player, practically held the Claremont defence up in the last half and is so quick and agile for his size, will definitely get drafted

i know its just a list, he already told me that he is going and what he is under, i agree with, where u are doesnt make a difference im just saying he isnt a true key defender even though he can play there, there are alot of players in the combine put under positions they dont usually play, it wont matter where they play in tac cup they will play in the position the club choses they play and most players should be able to do that.

At 192 and 85 , do you see him more as a running backline player or lockdown type.

Could probably do either, at Colts level he is playing more lockdown due to his ability to spoil, but he is quick and could be used as a running back. I see him a player that could play on a 3rd tall and kill them on the rebound. I don't see him playing on a big forward. I would put him in a Harry Taylor mould, except quicker. Takes majority of the Claremont kickouts so they obviously trust his kicking.

Been one of my favourite's for a while.

Running backline player, similar to Mackie just quicker and a better kick.

Justin Monaco is another similar type as well both very quick and good size.

David Kruse

very pleased to see this kid invited. He is way too skinny right now, but he has good height and great speed.

His NT team in the championships was light on for big guys, apart from May, so Kruse was often asked to play against big bodied key forwards. He got shoved aside pretty easily, but I was very impressed with his dash out of defence. Skills looked OK too. I think he's an exciting prospect as a tall wing or running half back.

The only tall defender I have taken notice of is Watson...what other Talls will go in the 1st & early 2nd round? I want to lions to look for a Harry Taylor type if they miss on Watson
