Profile : Another who hasn’t been talked about terribly much who could feature quite high up the order come draft day. Has had a terrific year for the Dragons where he played a variety of roles through the middle and up fwd. I think it is probably a wing / HF where he will settle so his team can exploit his pace and goal kicking capability. He is an exceptional user of the footy, has a very penetrating boot, is a good contested mark and seems to have very good core strength meaning he should win more one on ones than he loses. It is all this combined with his pace that I think will have him potentially going quite highly. Might get howled down for this but not dissimilar to one recent Rising Star winner at about the same stage. Super impressive at DC for speed and agility from memory which tends to be a reasonable test for players that get picked and go onto good things.
Why Collingwood: Pies were very keen to hold onto a couple of picks at this point so as per usual they appear to have already marked their target. Pies have lost a heap of midfield capability and Farmer is the best left.

Draft Range: 30 - 70
Roughie: Will GHS be available. Others like Ugle / Cooyou but probably to early albeit Melbourne and WCE are looking at with earlier selections than this....the games played hey!

There are some major pluses in his upside pace, finishing ability, core strength and being good one on one. If you get a kid with all of those attributes you have a huge chance of turning them into a very good player.
 
I am just thrilled to see us land this kid. he has a lot of talent and is the perfect sort of player in a heap of ways. Been a consistent performer and stood out on a number of occassions. great 1:1, elite kick, tall, athletic, speed, agile and good fitness base. Just wonder where he would have gone if played Champs.......this kid could have easily gone top 25 IMO.....I am that big a wrap.

Dan was on a baseball scolarship at Haileybury College and has spent the past three years playing footy in their first 18. He is a quiet, respectful kid who gets the most out of himself. Dan worked really hard to get this opportunity and won't let your footy club down.
 
I am most bullish about this kid from all of this years draftees.

Just has many AFL attributes. Speed, good decision making and elite foot skills and is dual sided.

Brilliant player. Kicked 5 in a quarter against Geelong Grammar in the last game of the season. Is quick, strong and has great dukes.

Geez Snoop you made him sound like a Future Superstar and reading that how did he got to Pick 46? What do you mean by he has an Elite Kick?
