Possibility for our leading goal kicker if he got 17 from 10 games, which is 1.7 goals a game, he'd only have to increase that by 3 and he's a show for the coleman with a conservative prediction of 103 goals from the 22 home and away season games. Playing in the best team in the competition, he should flourish with better players around him, hitting him accurately etc. His elite marking, kicking, pace, endurance, core strength, awareness, decision making, hands, ball winning ability should see him thrive.

There is no question that Jared Polec has elite self-aggrandizing skills and is unquestionably elite in terms of self confidence, but he does lack the truly elite kicking that Farmer possesses on each hoof. I watch a heap of underage footy and I'm fairly confident that Polec will reach the dizzy heights of someone like Shaun Grigg, but probably not a lot further. He'd max out potential wise at someone like Justin Sherman, quick and longish kick, but a perennial turnover merchant.

He does seem to fit the Caff mould, but I would imagine that Rounds would be next in line for Caff's half-forward role in the event that the OP prevents Caff from starting. Plus the introduction of Krakouer to the side; hopefully a returning and fit Dick; McCarthy entering an extremely important season for him personally; and remembering that Leon was outside the 22 when we lifted the cup.

I'm itching to check out the new crop in the VFL, Farmer in particular, but we've got time and enough depth on our side to bring them along at the appropriate pace. If one of the new crop - at a guess Fasolo or Farmer - impress enough in their first season to even warrant an emergency spot then we've done very well.

I'd have thought Rounds and Fasolo would be ahead of Farmer at this stage, just from the younger crew.

I wouldn't rule out Tarrant playing forward in a similar role to Macaffer if the Caff really is hurt.

Hmm I followed those links and they have him down at pick 75 or in the after pick 60 to rookie range, and we got him with pick 46.

Fasolo was taken by us only something like 3 picks later than anticipated, but Kirk Ugle was expected to got at pick 29 and we got him at 60. So specutively getting Ugle at a steal is counterbalanced with Farmers pick. But then again only hindsight in the next 4-5 years will tell us how good the selections were/were'nt

Nothing i saw on the videos impressed me that much.. he just seemed to do only things most VFL players should be capable of. Infact i was less than impressed. Maybe my expectations were too high after reading this thread. if he turns out anything the players described i would be wrapped. I'll take Snoops word and wait to see him in action.
