I like it with the logo. It keeps it from being too plain and I like how the cross on the logo is then repeated as the background. It's a nice effect.
Also, I doubt it's the same jumper as before as they have new sponsors and ISC have a new logo.

I'm not watching it but small, black letters on an orange jumper doesn't sound very readable.

Yeah it's horrible from a distance. Nearly as useless as the writing above the number - I've seen a few that say "Canberra" but I have a feeling that it's the player's home town.
Also the numbers on the back of the GWS guernsey are glossy - looks to be a quick stick-on job.

All Teams should wear their home Jumpers, and their home shorts (normally dark) at Home and away with white shorts
however in the case of a clash the following conditions should apply
- The away team must wear an alternate jumper to avoid the clash
- Clashes occur when the two teams playing both have
a) dark jumpers (away team wears light strip)*
b) light jumpers (away team wears dark strip and Home team wears white shorts)
c) stripes (away team wears a strip with less stripes and be mostly dark or light- the opposite of the home team)
*Red is not a dark colour, Red does not clash with blue, black or white.
*Maroon is a dark colour, it clashes with red as well as Blue and Black
The best Jumper collingwood has worn to avoid clashing with north melbourne or geelong is the one from the start of 2000's with the magpie on the front.

Thought GWS' jumper looked nice tonight from front on, but from side/behind it isn't so great. The grey really needs to extend onto the back, but i'd still almost rate it in the top half of the jumpers in the afl as is.

The whole back orange looked terrible, if it was top half orange and botom black and had white numbers it would be way better

Few things from the games this week:
- What was with the blue on the Lions? Should have continued onto the front shoulders in the same pattern if it was necessary. Interesting to see the traditional Fitzroy lion where the "BBFFC" usually sits. Is this a permanent thing?
- The Essendon sash looks horrible from the side. Looks nothing like a sash - can't see this one last beyond 2011
- At first reaction I thought it might have been a stripe of white tape on that Saints jumper, perhaps to cover up a misspelling haha. Although with the late-notice I wouldn't put it past a quick iron-on solution used for this game - but I would have thought you would see the black of the cross instead of pure white. Does that mean the entire design was stuck on?
- Couldn't see a wave portion on the back of the GC clash jumper? And what is of it there is barely noticeable unfortunately. I was very glad to see blue socks - even if there were no design elements - because it looked very iffy with red at the launch.
Speaking of those home socks, the line of blue is almost a light teal
Black/white numbers are terrible, hopefully something that will change when Reebok pull out next year.
- Not convinced by the Giants "white G" design, at all. I would hate for it to become a Sydney-like discrepancy between the front and back (and the orange socks) - maybe swap the orange and charcoal around to make it predominantly orange. White should also change to this newfound light silver if they're using it properly.
Still think the other one is the better of the two, would really make a statement about the footy design trend of the era - basketball-style sidepanels!

Totally agree with this. It looks rubbish, especially from the side where the charcoal on the front and the side panels doesn't meet up properly.
I hope they ditch this jumper and go with the other 'G' jumper or the Saints style one (which would benefit from having either an orange or charcoal back).

First of all i think the GC home jersey looks absaloutly AWESOME, it looks so much better under lights.
SYDNEY's Clash looks X10 better then last years
Greater western sydneys is Alright. still some fine tuning to be done to it. but hopefully they doNT play in that awfull orange one with the big grey G in the middle. maybe the st.kilda style one is a better option for now.
GC SUNS clash isnt that great, at first look all i could see was WHITE. i couldnt see the wave at all. soo i think they need to make the wave a bit darker.

I was at the games last night in Sydney and to be honest, I didn't like the shades of yellow/red used for GC on their home jumper. But when I watched the highlights this morning they look great on TV (which i suppose most people will be seeing it). The red looks dull and the yellow looks like it should be slightly more orange than that 'canary' yellow colour. And to my suprise Sydney didn't look to disgraceful in white like I expected.

Brisbane need to cut their losses and go back to their old jumper.
It has been one of the biggest re-branding failures. The new logo and jumper was meant to reflect a new era with Voss however that has been a failure with the recruiting and the actual logo and new jumper has been a major failure in terms of its aesthetics and meaning.
Yeah, Essendon's sash is horrible imo. And the blue of the lion's jumper was very out of place, I do like the old Fitzroy lion on the back though

I'm pretty sure that Brisbane will change back soon. Next year may even be a possibility. There's just far too much hate towards this jumper, it's split their fans and has poor on field success attached to it.
