Can I get some help for my team, I think I'm in a unique possy with $367,000 in the bank and 4 trades left.

My team is as follows:

Scotland, Gibbs, Goddard, Fisher, Deledio, Lower, Otten (Gilbert, Toy, Andreoli)

Judd, Swan, Boyd, Griffin, Montagna, Selwood (Buckley, I.Smith, Callinan)

Cox, Smith (Petrie, McCauley)

Pavlich, Goodes, O'Keefe, Franklin, Yarran, Riewoldt, Mzungu (Lynch, Howe, Talia)


Any tips would be appreciated I'm a bit stuck at the moment on where to use the cash

...lions have a favourable draw while swans have a prelim final at skilled???

...although mummy would have to be nice and refreshed after a mid season hiatus :p

I'll be alright with the cox injury, lobbe and mumford will be just fine.

My issue's going to bite me in a couple off week's when carlton have the bye, I had pedersen and strauss on the bench but now only pedersen.

Only 2 trades and 2K, i can get strauss to adcock but will leave me no money for my last trade which could go either way, with Silvia and Brennan likely casualties.

Was planning on upgrading Cooney to Boyd but will have to wait and see on Ablett, Franklin, Sylvia, Jamar as too whether I pull the trigger on that trade.

The big issue here is you have Judd, Gibbs, Scotland & Yarren all up for the coming bye when you need your premiums the most. As such you could:

- Use all 4 trades on just those 4 upgrading to the best possible players.

- You've got so much cash you could trade as per:

1. Toy to Birchall/Suckling/whoever
2. Gibbs/Scotland to Birchall/Suckling/whoever; Cover Gibbs/Scotland with Otten/Gilbert
3. Upgrade Judd
4. Upgrade Yarren

I'd personally go option 2. It may be more risky in benching Scotland/Gibbs but the reward if Otten or Gilbert can cover well and win you the game is massive come the GF. Good luck.

Judd to Sewell. Frees up cash to help with next trade & backing myself to win this week straight to prelim.

Hibberd to Fisher.

Silly getting rid of Judd or forward thinking?

i forgot to trade last weekend and have 8 trades and 425k in the bank, finished 3rd so was thinking i could throw the game this week but use 2 trades to improve my team so i can prepare the team better for the rest of the finals.

Any suggestions?

Best team at the moment is

Backline - Gibbs, Goddard, Fisher, Deledio, Enright, Lower, Puopolo

Mids - Judd, Swan, Boyd, Chapman, Bolton, Swallow

Ruck - Cox, Smith

Forward - Pavlich, Goodes, Petrie, Franklin, Rewoldt N , Rewoldt J, Darling,

Need some help with my team. I have 4 trades left, $216,600 kitty.

Backs: Goddard, Fisher, Deledio, Enright, Heppell, Adcock, Lower (Pupaolo, Talia, Coad)

Mids: Ablett, Pendelbury, Swan, Judd, Bartel, Goodes (A.Swallow, Jacobs, Hibberd)

Ruck: Cox, Smith (Redden, J. Tippet)

Forwards: Pavlich, Franklin, Chapman, N.Riewoldt, A.Krakour, Mzungu, I.Smith (Petrie, Matera, Callihan)


My second ruck and forwardline is weak. I'm just seeing what trades I could make. I'm playing someone who has Mumford as their 2nd ruck so I want to avoid that option. McEvoy seems likely.
Forward is a big hurdle because there are not many good options. I was looking at Matera to Didak as a cheap upgrade so I could get the best possible upgrade for my ruck. However, Didak has given no indication that he is about to turn around his form and he does start as a sub and get subbed out these days.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sylvia's in the mix as well, according to Viney, which you'd have to assume will mean he plays.

Stuffed if I know what I'll do. I'm considering copping the donut for Petrie.


If I was impromtu however I'd consider trading Boomer this week. (I haven't studied his team very heavily) but I reckon that could help him put a gap on 2nd this week if he gets the incoming player right.

leaves you still with Mzungu, seem's to be going the best, Bring in as many of Fyfe, ROK, Goodes, A Ruck man as you can.

I need help too, team is;

Goddard, Fisher, Delidio, Enright, Gibson, Suckling, Lower (Newman, Puopolo, Toy)
Pendles, Judd, Swan, Ablett, Hodge, I Smith (A Swallow, Iles, Roach)
Cox, Mumford (Petrie, Tippett)
Pav, Goodes, Buddy, J Roo, N Roo, Rioli, Hale (Darling, Lynch, Callihan)

I have 4 trades and $275k.

Option 1 is to trade Iles and A Swallow out for ROK and Fyfe

Option 2 is to trade Iles and A Swallow for ROK and a premium mid.

Option 2 is to deal with Newman (only got him in to replace Shaw) and potentially Gibson as well.

ROK would probably move J Roo out and Fyfe/premieum mid would move I Smith out of the midfield.

Thinking I have to go all out this week and then I can keep Enright the following week. Shaw/Newman debarcle really is killing me.

Who do I get?

If you could post your bench as well that'd be helpful. :)

Looking at it the three obvious areas in need of an upgrade are R2, F7, D7. In that order IMO, but hard to tell without seeing the full team. You've got trades to sideways trade premiums for crucial games if need be.

Apparently Z.Smith is in line for a rest this week so he'd be the first guy I moved on, lots opportunity for a point of difference when trading in premium rucks. Sam Jacobs and Ben McEvoy would be the first options that come to mind.

Bluey McKenna was on On The Couch this evening and confirmed what a lot of us were dreading - he'll be resting Zach Smith this week.
