Well, thanks to the family day we know why Tom Bell didnt play in the intra-club

It was then time to hear from Brett Ratten before the presentation of every player on the stage. The only players missing were Andrew Carrazzo who was at home with his family and Tom Bell who was home in Queensland recovering from injury.

Had a good day today, took my neice who is in a wheelchair and must say the players staff and Ratts were all wonderfully helpful and friendy, lots of autographs and photos, some of our boys look awesome.

Bower has bulked up, Laidler is much taller than I thought, Jammo reckons he's progressing fine and 'yep all good no worries', Kane Lucas and Andrew Walker look incredibly fit...and Ratts is a top bloke very down to earth, as is Kade & Bryce.

Ratts reckons its the biggest family day crowd for 10 - 15 years (nice one !)

Top 4 folks....bring it on :thumbsu:

Not sure about McCarthy but the others definitely were.

McCarthy was there too!
Great turnout today!
Absolutely loved it!
Great to see the players getting along with the fans so well and having a laugh with them.
One of the best days of the year for me every year.
Great to meet some of the youngsters!

Eddie Betts is a Chupa Chup.

It's a bit tired isn't it, but Eddie is really just a big harmless kid.

What's with the eyewear, though? Have we got a sponsor or have the boys just bought in bulk?

No wonder I could find any wayfarers in DJ's yesterday. :( :D

Was a great day!
I took my 5 and 3 year olds down for the day.
Well done to the CFC for putting on such a family friendly event...the jumping castle was a hit.
The players were great with the kids, especially Curnow and Tuohy.

The main thing about yesterday is my step kids had an awesome day and I have fully converted them now from Essendon to Carlton. 8 year olds room is covered in Blues stickers and posters.
Got sick of queing up on Sunday but I suppose that is the price you pay for barracking for a popular side like the Blue Baggers.
Awesome to be walking back on the hallowed turf and kicking the footy in the goalsquare.
Even got hit in the head with a footy which brought back memories of having a kick on the ground after the game as a kid.
:D

Had a good day, lined up for a while to get a signature and personal message from Murph for my sisters 21st. He was very accommodating considering they had banned personal dedications.

My only sour note of the day was the disgraceful people who pushed in the line, considering people had been waiting for hours and missed out on signatures. One woman who pushed in front of me proceeded to cut in front of children as well before I stepped in and told her to at least let the kids go before her.

Other than that the guys were great. I asked Duigs how his knee was and he said he'll be back running very soon, nothing we didn't already know.

Hampson was looking as fine as ever (no homo), introduced my girlfriend to him and she could barely talk.

Robinson looked like a homeless person who stole a few clothing items from the merchandise stall. He forgot or lost his polo top whilst he was moving so he had to wear a jumper over a Telecom shirt with a beenie. He must have been frying under that attire because I was struggling in shorts and a t-shirt. Classic Robbo!

Andy Maher was very good as MC, handled it very well IMO.
