Guidetti is the other striker cause he is the cheapest, you can go for any EPL striker.

I like the players although I'm not a fan of the formation.

I'll have to try Italian silvers as they look great.

I've noticed I play like rubbish with my silvers now having created a decent gold team. I'll have to get used to using them again.
 
4-0 Up with not long to go, Opposition player quits. Get through to the player ratings screen and apparently I've lost the game. Whats the go with this?

On such a horrid run at the moment....been relegated back to Div 2 and am only just going to stay up. Have lost an insane amount of games by one goal with the winner in stoppage time, every time I can see what is going happen but am basically powerless to stop it. The last straw was being up a 3-1 lead to lose 3-4 and then the very next game led 4-0 at halftime and lost 4-5 lol....stick ur game up ur rearend EA :(

Staying in Div 1 is a challenged purely using silvers. Good luck.

I had to build a gold Serie A team just to stay competitive in Div 1.

Got Pepe, Turan, Ronaldinho and El Sharaawy in my binge. Sold Pepe for 36k, then spent that too...got DeGea :(

Doesn't help with the shit EA servers... Lost the second game 3-0 to a guy with a very good EPL team (Aguero, Balo, Nasri) but was just then playing against a similarly good Bundesliga team that had Gomez, Robben, etc.
Was up 4-3 with 5 minutes to go before it froze... Yeah, now I get the loss.

Game is stuck on "Barnnz is connecting to the EA servers" every time I load it up now. Not sure how to fix it.

EDIT: Never mind, finally fixed it after playing around with it for a bit. flipping EA and their glitchy games.

Now time to open some packs with some coins to try and find an IF Messi. ;)

I don't understand how I can use a Brazilian team with full fitness and full morale yet none of them can sprint and none of them can dribble or use skill moves. It's ridiculous. I check for green bars before every match to avoid lag so what's the problem? Players like Neymar and Ronaldinho shouldn't have the turning circle of a bus. I need to stop playing or I'll end up putting my controller through the TV screen.

The PS3 update must have fixed all the cheating BS that goes along with Brazilian squads :p
 
I didn't mean that I wanted to pace abuse. It's happening with all of my squads.

Heh.

Online tournament with a 3.5 star team, not too bad, picked up Kevin Kuranyi, Schuerrle & some silver bloke who can't stop scoring as my striking duo and jacked up their fitness levels so I could really help myself out.

First game, feeling pretty confident with my squad, coming up against some guy called 3lite FC.

n00b. I'll smash him. Then his squad loads, **** me running. 5 star, 100 chemistry, all rare gold players (I think?) littered throughout his team.


His team was so ****ing good he had Podolski on the bench for crying out loud.

Anyway 2nd minute his German centre midfielder unleashes from about 40 yards and sends an absolute screamer past my keeper. I'm thinking this is it, the beginning of a 6-0 rout. I just sat sort of slack jawed looking at the TV screen for a good few seconds.

From the re-start I've sent Exslager (my silver striker) on this run and just missed one. This guy wasn't that good, his team just made him look incredible. So that was a bit heartening until about 3 seconds later when his striker made my defenders look like Ralph Wiggum got cloned four times. 0-2 and I'm in strife.

It got real good from here. Sebastian Rudy glides in through the defence, off to Kuranyi, goal. Rudy you star. 1-2, I'm quietly confident.


Three minutes later Exslager creams one from just outside the box and this poxy ****'s defence had no answer. Absolute howler from his CB and we're all square at 2-2 heading into the half.

At about 60 minutes I decided to bring in the subs because the fitness was starting to go downhill, and brought on some no-name Arabic striker from the dust leagues in Saudi Arabia called Fatalah.


Weapon. I mean, serious gun.

They had no answer for him. Time and time he'd run through their defence, I'd be sitting there gaping at the TV as he'd just miss.

Rudy headed one in in about the 70th minute and I was pretty confident that was it, but Ramires equalled at 3-3 not long after that.


Enter Fatalah. From the restart I sent Kuranyi on a bit of a dodging run, and Fatalah's just strolled past the defenders and is sitting in the middle of the pitch. His defender had a brain fart, Kuranyi passes to Fatalah and 4-3 Fatalah you gun keep praying to Allah whenever you want pal.

Unfortunately "tezzaaaa2010" scored a tramp goal to send it to extra time. I almost threw the controller out the window, because this bloke's team was out of sight and there was no way I should have got near him, and I was actually legitimately cheering my own goals. Fist pumping and all.

In extra time Fatalah kept producing the goods but it was a back and forth contest. They had all the momentum going down their end, and Krul kept us in it - my god he's a stalwart. Save after save, right on the death. I really need to upgrade my defence.

I got one chance in extra time, in the 120th minute. One. Fatalah. Goal. Strike from just inside the penalty box, past his overrated hack keeper.

5-4. I actually screamed. I thought the kid would be really angry, but he sent me a message directly after the game saying "sick game bro".

So I sent him one back saying "you too dude".

Was a really nice, really excellent FIFA experience.

This game is awesome. Now that I've figured out how to play UT properly, I'm really happy with the game.
 
Your anecdotes are brilliant, FG. I also do enjoy a tight game where the player has the courtesy of messaging you after the game. Brightens your spirits a little bit.
