Yeah I think that price range is fair, but I expected you to want more.

As for Bayern not spending big that often, they do if they feel that they really need the player like the did with Martinez so they could spend big if they feel that Suarez is the missing piece to the puzzle. I think if you play hard to get then you could bump the price to 45m or thereabouts. And I dont think that Suarez will push hard for a move so that should help in negotiations.

FFP isn't going to bother the likes of Bayern Munich. They're the fourth highest revenue earners in football, and if they sell Gomez and buy Suarez, they would be better off as far as FFP goes.

I think England would suit Gomez better than Spain. He is a more right place right time kind of guy who can finish. Not somebody with a high amount of skill.

What? No it's not fine, it's the opposite of fine! I'll understand his decision if he chooses to go to a club like Munich or Barcelona, but I definitely won't be fine with it. Hopefully he feels loved at Anfield and decides to stick around. He seems very happy and we've already gone through the worst patch of our rebuilding phase. I suppose we're fortunate in that unlike Arsenal we're capable and willing to pay big wages to players like Suarez that deserve it, so it won't be the lure of money that sees him move elsewhere.
