I agreed. Maybe it's time to bring in Heppell, but do I really want 3 bombers back there? (I already have Goddard and Hibberd)

Now I'm just waiting for Birchall to continue to spud it up

i'm so sick of my backline, there is always 1 or 2 premiums that spud up down there every week

If its not Shaw, its Birchall. If its not Birchall its Scotland. Should just start the season with mid-pricers and rookies in my backline, and fck off these consistently frustrating backline "premos".

I was really banking on Mayes getting dropped this week. Now gonna lose another 30-40k before I downgrade to Staker, which bloody sucks. He would have only made 80k for me when I finally trade, bit below what you would hope from a rookie.

Was just shit early, then did a slight knee injury in Q2, and I guess has struggled since then.

What other rookie defenders do you have? Surprised anyone would be trading out Goodes yet, I'll be holding him for a while yet. Good for solid 70-80 score most weeks.

Saunders, Terlich and Vlaustin. In hindsight, it would have been nice to trade Mayes>Steaker this week so I'd have keept Goodes.

Like many others I was going pretty well until the Brisbane v Carlton game. Rocky, Leuy, Martin & Scotland all down on average negated great scores from Watson & Goddard so I ended up with 703 from 8 players tonight
