ShaunDuggan if you haven't played alongside Jobe I don't know if you know what you're getting yourself into. When we recruited him to the Hawks all of Itsmyshow, boncer34 and myself undertook to defend him. I know I quickly found it was difficult and tiresome to defend him when you agreed with what the opposition was saying about him.

Because of this exprience, I've probably been the most vocal critic of recruiting him when the question was put to the playing group at the Hawks. He just does not grasp the fact that he has 19 other teammates, and that there's a chain of command. He does not have any right to make comments or decisions on behalf of the team, yet he does so anyway. I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary that this has changed even after his lay-off...renaming the SOO goalkicking award an obvious example.

I do hope he finds a club, and I hope he does it of his own accord and not because of Shaun.

My 5 cents worth (for now) ...

SD has played along side me previously. SD is extremely confident in his own ability to get the job done. He would not be doing this if he want confident. I've learned to ignore negativity over time. I'm confident the ignoring will indeed continue so there is nothing to worry about there.

The transition here will be as smooth as Brendon Goddard moving from Saints to Bombers. All will be done to make this happen. Over time, things have changed and they will come to fruition from Day 1.

More fool the people that believe Jobe is alive and well in The Jet. They couldn't be further from the truth if they tried. jobe is long gone.

The club that offers this opportunity, will reap the rewards for many seasons to come.

Believe that.

I haven't actually seen much of a difference between Jobe and the Jet if any at all.

We're basically in an off-season where posters aren't required to post as if in a season. Sitting back and being silent awaiting a season doesn't mean you're changed.

Actually there has been plenty to suggest you haven't. You still insult other posters unnecessarily which happened just yesterday in this thread towards a VC of the Dragons that had been discussing the merits of signing you.

I think teams would be stupid to take you on thinking your a new better poster. I sure as hell wasn't thinking that when I said yes for you to join the wonders and that was said prior to Duggan attaching himself to you.

You get what you pay for and teams know what they are getting with you and they need to decide how to deal with that and have to deal with the positives you bring and the negatives.

I think you are plain ignorant to think he hasn't changed. My dealings with Jobe have been solid and I can see that he has changed and is capable of biting his tongue. I am sure others have seen that. You were for Jobe going to the Wonders but all you have done is be negative in the public. You are contradicting yourself each and every time. If you don't believe he has changed and don't believe he can change then why say yes to having him at the Wonders when you continually be negative on the issue? Maybe it is just because you want me to remain at the Wonders? Well that is not happening now so move on.

ShaunDuggan has been open through every part of discussions so far. I have full confidence in SD from start to finish. SD is a very impressive unit both on & off the field.

Duggan has also asked me for my opinion at every opportunity like a professional. I have been very impressed in how he has gone about his by putting his own neck on the line.

I'd be more than happy to involved SD in anything that involves myself. As they say, it's better to have someone like Duggan on your ticket than against you.

I like the cut of his jib.
