Loligans.

Everybody remembers who won the first ever showdown. There will be a chance to play in another final in the future if your rabble can get their shit together, but there will never ever be another first showdown.

Thank you for confirming that you rate home and away games higher than the finals :thumbsu:

So you admit that the showdown final has been the most important showdown thus far?

Read the posts drakes it isn't hard to understand. I'm not prepared to get into a childish shit flinging match with you.

Haha you're being intentionally ambiguous.

You said that the first showdown was the biggest and then denied ever saying that a h&a game was bigger than a final. Which one is it?

Which was more important, the home and away match between Hawthorn and Sydney in the final round of the season last year which decided the minor premiership and the order of the top 4 (and therefore led to Geelong coming up against Freo in the first week of finals and losing, and therefore decided the make up of the Grand Final), or Richmond versus Carlton playing off in a 5th vs 8th* elimination final last year?

Some H&A matches are more important than others. Some finals are less important than others. The first Showdown ever and the first Showdown at Adelaide Oval are more significant in the grander scheme of things than 2005's 'Who gets to go to Subi to get thrashed by West Coast next week' cup.

Did you win the gf in 05? No so no one gives a SQUIB about the final! The first ever showdown and the first at Adelaide oval are the biggest! You got squibbed off the park by 55 points in the last one you squib! Embarrassing to see your crow fans leaving their new home before the siren at the first game! Hahaha Squib

Only you could argue that a home and away game showdown (that port won) is bigger than a showdown final (that crows won)

God help you and your unbelievable bias Schulzy. God help you.

Me and just about every media outlet in the country. But you're very good at avoiding questions. I knew I'd have to repeat myself.

If your answer is the former, then you're (correctly) admitting that some H&A games can be more important than some finals. If your answer is the latter, then you have a hugely warped version of what is and isn't a significant game. Although given how proud you are of how 'competitive' the Crows have been this century despite not having made a Grand Final, let alone won one, this wouldn't be surprising.

LOL completely different scenarios and you know it.

The Showdown final meant the winner progressed through to the prelim final yet the winner of the first showdown progressed to round 5 along with every other club.

I'm not sure why you are even trying to argue this.

Loved your ducking and dodging away from talking about this showdown Drakes:thumbsu:

Forget the past - I reckon the future is looking a helluva lot brighter for Port than it is for Adelaide. With King Ken in the coach's box and the best fitness guru in the business (Darren Burgess) in our corner, we can't go too far wrong.
