Watched a bit of the game to get a look at nick Robertson and marco paparone.
Paparone looked lazy at times. Dished a couple of hanballs and his opponent ran around him and tackled the handball receive - super soft. Looks like an in between size without much athletic zip, a little Dylan Robertson like...
Didn't see enough of Robertson to make an opinion - but did like the couple of things little Lewy Taylor did, has some zip

Apparently we beat Richmond at the G in 2012 - I have absolutely no recollection of this match.

This is the only MCG win against the Tigers out of ten attempts.

We won in the rain. Sandilands subbed in first few minutes, and Griffin stood up, including an awesome goal from the pocket. Pav kicked six, and Crozier and Neale both played. Riewoldt sooked, but that doesn't really narrow it down.

Some here were pumping up Paparone to be our KPF saviour prior to the draft.

I'm still laughing.

It was the start of PAV'S mid season goal scoring rampage.

$hit I hope the legend can produce that kind of form this year, and stay fit & healthy too.

Probably the worst game I have watched this year tonight (and that includes the WAFL reserves standard played between Melb/Carl last week). The commentators kept blaming the dew/sweat on the ball.. but it was painful to watch. The tigers almost play like a video game team most weeks with Hardwick clicking different extreme settings on the "style of play" menu.

Was a shame for Browny though

How could you forget?

It was the origin of the one and only KFC man!

Not fixturing, the fixture itself. A game we (almost) always lose.

Good to get a game at the G no doubt, but we struggle hard v Richmond.

Christ, this is defeatist. They're not Hawthorn! We'll take them apart and build our confidence on the 'G'.

That's not a bad fixture, just bad history.

Can we make the top 2 after this? Or do we need to beat Sydney by 70 odd points

It is possible but would require:
a. Us to win by a fair bit
b. Hawks Geelong game to not be too close (at least a few goals)
c. Eagles to beat Port

So as per c, I hope we aren't top 2 tonight !

We could jump port even if they and us win, but we have a 20% bridge to cross, so would need to well out margin them.
