Sitting at Yeronga watching the Ressies train in the freezing cold...I think we're owed a win!

Nice cool footy weather for tonight's game. Have to bring the jeans out for the first time for the year.

Swans forward line is lacking some game fitness for Goodes and Reid which should help us (hopefully). Swans have been playing some inconsistent football throughout the year but do have some class in the midfield which where games are most probably won. In saying that a whole team
effort by our boys will have to occur for a win. Last week would have boosted the confidence of our boys however we haven't beaten the Swans in a long time. Nothing's impossible but we will have to be on our game and they off of there's for the win. Let's hope so and go Lions in a close win again.

looking forward to seeing more improvement in our players. A good showing at home is important, plus Sydney may approach this match like they did against GWS. Hopefully no last quarter fadeout ,
GO LIONS

Its not too bad, its just the cool wind which is making it chilly. Will be quiet cold tonight if the wind keeps up though. Might need a few rumbos tonight to warm me up.

Even though I'm expecting an uncompetitive, low standard match I'm still looking forward to it.

An extra stein at the German club will be in order from me

And Haso noone watches the isotopes when they're losing. Geez

Won't be watching the game tonight, track the progress on a phone. Hope the boys can pull out a win, gotta feeling they will.

sydney 98 defeat brisbane 71
brisbane best: zorko, redden, aish
sydney best: haneberry, malceski, rampe

Game day:hearts: Rockliff and Redden will both need to stand up and have big games if we are to win tonight. Adcock and Patfull will also need to play like they did last week. I am hoping Browny can continue to get on the scoreboard and kick 2 or 3 as well.

Does anybody have any idea's as to what the defensive match up's could be? Who will Patfull go to now that Buddy is out? Goodes? Will Clarke go to Reid? Who does Gardiner match up on? Which ever way the match ups go I am confident that they will do a good job. If Patfull and Adcock can continue last week's form for the rest of the year it will go a long way to helping us win each week. They were borderline elite last week.

It was great to see Patfull in form again by the way. He is truly amazing to watch when he is in form shutting down elite forwards. Same with Adcock as well. His courage, leadership, attacking plays and defensive work was all top class last week. He played like a true leader.

Gotta use the confidence from last weeks win in NZ. Need huge games from Rockliff, Lester and Redden if we are to be a chance. And need someone in the forward line aside from Brown (fingers crossed he plays) to kick 2 or 3.

patfull to goodes, clarke to reid i reckon. gardiner has shown he can play on small-medium forwards, so he will probably go to parker or cunningham. not sure who has the speed to go with jetta, that will be an interesting matchup
