pfft, Golden Grove

Golden Grove's not a real (traditional) suburb. It's a corporate abortion from the 1990s created by the same people who invented West Lakes. A soulless franchise of a place to live. Grassrootsfooty can't be found there.

#wearemodburyunder8s
No real grass roots footy is Colonel Light Gardens U12 … we get thumped every single week

Im sorry he definetly confirmed the SANFL will, and need to change the unfair rules that they agreed to.

As for Centrals apart from your conspiracy theory, they were under the same rules as everyone else , unless you Power supporters know something the rest of SA dont.
Have you asked anyone at Glenelg why they voted YES to AFL reserves teams in the SANFL? They are the ones who had all the facts and figures presented to them and could have put their hand up to say NO we don't agree to this. Full credit to South and Centrals for sticking up what they believe in. The other SANFL clubs could not put their own hand out quick enough to get the cash or have their salary cap penalties rescinded (e.g Norwood)

Just accept the fact that your club would not be around if it was not for Port and the Crows playing in the SANFL.

It doesn't even make sense.

"Paul Stewart is a Woodville-West Torrens product, Cameron Hitchcock was playing in a Glenelg jumper last year" as if player movement of any sort has never occurred before the current arrangements were put in place. Tim Evans was a Geelong product. Phil McGuinness was playing in a Glenelg jumper the year before he joined Port in the mid-90's, and so on.

It sickens me that this muppet actually got paid for writing it. I can read such poorly thought-out nonsense on Facebook and BigFooty for free.

... and Cain Ackland was a Port product as was Clinch but that did worry North Adelaide or Partland.

The interesting thing will be what happens to the likes of Tom Logan and Cam Hitchcock if they are delisted by the Power at the end of the year. They will probably revert to Glenelg but of course we do not read Partland on that that scenario.

To Warren Partland and grassrootsfooty,
I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. Now go away or I will taunt you a second time.

This is grassrootsfooty....... The SANFL aint what she used to be....

I'm old enough to remember when the SANFL was a truly mighty competition. Huge crowds, prime time television replays, high quality of football, and the Findon Skid Kids doing half time stunt shows at finals. That was a competition worth fighting for.
The SANFL of today is a weak, sickly looking, pale imitation of that once proud competition. To be perfectly honest I have no idea what these people are fighting to save. It's really just a reasonable day out these days, a decent quality game, and a chance to kick the footy on the oval during the breaks. Real footy my arse.
Basheer, Whicker, Glenfu***rs etc etc ruined the once mighty SANFL competition by doing everything and anything possible to preserve their fiefdom even though it was being r*ped by the VFL.

If those filthy pieces of shit were really interested in grass roots football and the SANFL clubs, then they would have backed Port to the hilt in 1991 and if they had done so, the teams in this state would be on an equal footing with every other team in the VFL/AFL but no, your Basheers your Whickers, Glenpuke and the like, cut off their nose to spite their face and all the clubs in the SANFL then, except Port Adelaide, were killed off by the "chaps" so clowns like that grassrootsfooty knob and others of his ilk, ought to shut their gobs and share their grievances with those that care because it's got nothing to do with the Port Adelaide Football Club and we don't care.

Thats fine, I have no problems with the competition and its players how strong or weak they are, I support a club. I dont care if we are the 2nd best league in the land and have huge TV ratings, massive sponsors like renault and all the corporate facilities are sold out. I seriously think a lot of you dont get it, but then a lot of you have not played footy and been part of a club. Some have and it and that stands out in your comments. Its not about the cash and ratings and if you are better than the crows or not, who cares!!! I suppose its a bit of the old small man syndrome.
The SANFL almost run this club into the ground with there penny pinching ways. I hope the Port Magpies win every game from now on and finish it off with the sweetest of GF victories.

I love it when they say change the rules they agreed to. So most of your clubs and the governing body of your competition are that stupid or that greedy?.

Ha yes. The same people that were telling us to pipe down whenever we said something bad about the SANFL because those were "the rules we agreed to" to enter the AFL.

Fos Williams was developed by West Adelaide. Fos isn't a real Port Adelaide player according to Partland.

I think Glenelg just need to grow the pie.

Personally, I've always thought that the two reserves teams would somewhat mirror the fortunes of their AFL sides. It's just so happened that this has happened when we are going well in the AFL, so I wouldn't like to see any kneejerk reactions after one year, but it's looking that way. If this reserves model started 2 or 3 years ago people probably would have been wanting to kick us of the SANFL because we were too weak.

Same rules eh? I must have missed the part where Doug Thomas lead the $ANFL Flaming Pitchfork brigade to ensure Centrals were kicked out of their home ground?
