First he dismissed it as false and told people not to pay attention to it, then a few hours later after he'd had a phone conversation with his manager he completely reversed tack and backed every word of it and his manager 100%.

So yes, all of that stuff is truly ridiculous.

It's just ridiculous. People at my work dont even know when it's my birthday, never mind going out of their way to get me a ****ing cake. Get over it. Enjoy your birthday with your family and friends and get on with life.

Yaya is only doing what his manager is telling him to do, which is what the vast majority of players do because they don't know shit about contracts or negotiations. His manager meanwhile is being a colossal ****stick, which is increasingly normal for that field.
