Where does Yaya think he will go?

He is 31 and won't get any better. He won't get sold to a top team, maybe AC Milan.
He's just had a 20+ goal season as a midfielder, he can choose where he goes despite his age. One of the best midfielders in the world at the moment.

City won't sell him to a top side and no club would pay 30m for him at 31 (which would be the amount City would accept).

Why wouldn't they? I'd say he is easily worth 30mil.

Appreciate the point about City not selling to a rival though.

Can't agree at his value being 30m.

How embarrassing for Yaya. Why would you move clubs because someone forgot his birthday. You don't go round looking for happy birthdays, if they come they come. Surely it's a joke.

rumour that kroos has extended his bayern contract until 2019.

Kroos will extend his contract at Bayern until 2019! Source: my source, not ESPN, haha

pinch of salt etc etc.

It's 5am in Munich. On the ball or what?

Never heard of this guy? Is he reliable? Espn saying we have a chance of signing him, who knows.

i dont know if he's reliable. just something i read.

Well it's entirely plausible. Guess will know very soon if it is true.

Apparently Can can't leave Leverkusen as his buyout clause is illegal since Bayern has a buyback clause in the contract which runs until next year.

What difference does that make?

If Can doesn't want to go to Bayern then there is nothing they can do.

Regardless of what Sepp might think, players aren't slaves. You can't dictate where they can or cannot go.

Makes a huge difference. Bayern have another year to decide if they want to buy him back. Bayern could waive that right to buy back though.

well if bayern want him they should probably activate the clause.

they've already signed rode for the same position. can't have everybody.

If I was Bayern I would buy him, loan him out and then make more money on selling him.

This is the issue with some of these big clubs. They really should not be able to do that.
