Christ Caleb Daniel looks silky... Such a good finisher.

The 4 games that were not on TV Johansen dominated. I'd love to pick him up with our 1st or 2nd pick.if we are going to take a small again should be Caleb Daniel from what I seen in the U18 IMO JJ was a little fumbley. only a couple of games but all I have to base my opinion on being interstate.
stay on your high horse then just giving a little info, FYI only 2 clubs shown interest so far us and north. North have a higher pick than we do atm, they flew his gf over and had lunch in geelong, harvey as well as allot of others where there and if he gets picked up by them he (harvey) will be his mentor for the next 2 yrs. They are looking for a harvey replacement and a cult figure to take his place. If you have any information, contrary to this feel free to pass it on, because obviously you do. But the people that gave me the info are very very close to him and it effects them what his decision is they might want to know what info you have.
So was not a recruiting manager and him and thats it, they threw everything at him.

we can basically cross Jake Johansen of our list, north last week had very strong chats with him, friends with someone extremely close to him actually couldn't be any closer. Hes happy to go anywhere but north have shown the most attention to him to replace harvey.
Let's clear a few things up ----
1) Jake has no girlfriend
2) no body was flown over to Melbourne by the North Melbourne Football Club
3) there was no lunch was held at Geelong between North Melbourne and Jake
4) no approach has been made by North Melbourne's recruitment officials to Jake
What ever you have heard by anyone these are the correct facts
There is a lot of innuendo around players,
I can confirm Jake has had no official contact from any AFL club
Collingwood are in the same boat to us re. mosquito fleet. I doubt they'll go small again, in fact if they didn't have Scharenberg they'd probably be in a worse position because their backline is very small & apart from Cloke their tall forward stocks are bone dry.Just the same Jake would be a good fit at Collingwood, Crows and GWS wouldn't be surprised to see any of them use a 2nd round pick on him and I'm not sure we will have a first round pick to use if we go hunting a KPP.

I heard the Crows are trying hard to lure Ben Kennedy, if we didn't have 1/2 our list full of smalls including a few who probably won't make the grade Mitchell, Gray, Neade? Amon? DBJ? I would've been keen on Kennedy because he's a class above those.
I can't wait until Flynn makes the transition if only to give us something different to the super small setup we've been going with this year offering pace, height, skill & has a solid frame.

I'm not saying get rid of any of them just that we've loaded our list with pocket rockets & now need to focus on getting some height whilst developing what we've already got, the question marks aren't over their spots on our list just that they're still relatively unproven at this point.Harsh on a couple of first year draftees.... Amon in particular who's started to adjust to senior footy.

The difference between Caleb Daniel and Kane Mitchell, is Daniel is extremely polished. Kid finishes with his eyes closed.
Wouldn't bother me if we took him.
Where do you think he'll be taken in the draft? No doubt he's super skilled but he is very small. Not sure where Kev Sheehan said he'll end up, he rated him highly but obviously has question marks as to where an AFL club sees him draft wise. The difference between Caleb Daniel and Kane Mitchell, is Daniel is extremely polished. We had "strong chats" with Luke Dunstan and Trent Dumont last year, doesn't mean we will pick them.
I would have too. He's a gun.If he made it to our pick Lukes father was certain we would take him.
Thought Lycett was excellent today, has a huge kick on him too, he'd be handy resting forward.Lycett is no.1 ruck today with Nick Nat pulling out late. started at opening bouncing leaping high and putting his knee into Pyke's shoulder. impressive leap. got Dennis excited. the ground is waterlogged so dont expect to see him taking any marks.
And mine but it all depends on the cost, ie: draft picks/trade. Our recruitment staff will have their work cut out for them.Thought Lycett was excellent today, has a huge kick on him too, he'd be handy resting forward.
Now officially on my want list.
