Use what? my dumbbells? i say nowhat if someone wants to use them too?
This morning I got to the gym - empty!
Pure bliss - only had three people come in later (including resident hottie who I'd marry in a heartbeat)

I just bought some Olympic Dumbbells because the weights at jetts don't go beyond 40's
So i bet there are a few people form my gym, online on some other forum in an "irritating people at the gym thread" calling me out for being a tosser or something.
But i'm not going to lie, it does look pretty badass Incline Dumbbell Pressing 46 kilos in each hand - which is two 10kilos plates on each end of the dumbbell. The things are huge.

The 45 kilogram gym manager can try and stop meIs that even allowed? I'm telling Jetts.
He's like totally "functionally strong" n stuff. The 45 kilogram gym manager can try and stop me
Any exercises done poorly are bad for you. Don't read to much into that junk article, they are good exercises and done with proper form will only benefit you.

There's your goal: become one of the better looking, bulked up guysBut the thing that annoys me is that this girl is continually flirting, laughing and chatting with all the better looking, bulked up guys that go there. Would like to slit her throat to be honest.

What are people's thought on people running in the gym?
I go to anytime fitness, it is one of the larger ones. However a couple of people think it's a good idea to do sprints or suicides through the main thoroughfare. Admittedly this is in the morning when there may only 5-8 people in the gym. But still shits me.

My biggest pet peeve at gyms is when someone is taking a PT client and they are doing an exercise wrong and the PT says nothing. They stand there like a F*%$Ktard looking at their phone going 'ok one more and then we will hit the bike' or some such shit. The average standard of trainer is sooo abominable.
could be relevant to life really.....but you know when you go at set times you see the same people on these days? after a while you say gday but much time has elapsed where its awkward to actually introduce yourselves. but you feel like you know each other through chatting or exchanging ideas on working out.

I was doing a leg session 2 weeks ago, I've started at 60 all the way up to my max and back down.....I watched a PT and a lady do one set on the shoulder press. I could see the $$$ in his eyes.
Thats the big issue. The profession is dirty be cause it is not professional. 8 weeks and apparently you know how to be a trainer. Joke.
I don't like the idea that PT's have become more personal motivators that trainers. That's the bit that annoys me more than anything. That and it tends to be a cop out profession these days. " I didn't know what I wanted to do so I became a PT" type scenario. It's the friggin health industry - this is important stuff. It's not like your going to bugger up someones nails, hair or some spray paint on their car. This is life altering stuff if you get it wrong. It's just so disappointing that the minimum standards are so low. The public look to these people for advice and they think they know all because of a cert 3/4. It's terrible frustrating to watch and the main reason I don't go to a big gym.
