The Mccartin thing worries me a bit
Lever done an ACL?? Too risky

Lever has missed the entire season recovering from an ACL. He's rated from his output last year as a bottom-ager. I think the chance of a player doing an ACL if they've already had an ACL is something like 20%. It can be a big risk. Jon Patton case in point.

Is that for real?
Even if it is I think teams that can have just one dedicated ruck will do better by being able to bench four of the hardest runners.

Hawthorn just won the flag with 2 Ruckman both not quick .

The problem is not about for Rhys is Longer is an aggressive monster at centre clearances will only get better.
Stkilda clearly think Hickey is better also around stoppages with 2nd & 3 efforts .

Not a good sign at a young age, as a bottom 3 club I don't think we can afford that risk

Hes looking the ace in the lower pack
Yep, but again; he won't get past Carlscum at pick 19, so...

Hurry up and trade 19 Carlton. Man I hate them so bad...
My old man and brother barrack for them, tried to force me to do the same.
Even if it's not the Scum, the Injectors are passingly interested at #20...

How does Matt Sully feel about your man love for Reece McKenzie, Barrels?

you're doing the rounds.....

I hate to say it but Essendon will be our major challenger for pick 1 in the drafts next year.

Would spew for weeks on end if they finished last because of their blatant cheating & then got Boyd with pick 1.

Jeez - hadn't thought of that one. Surely not.

Can't say I'm against trading Stanley, not too fussed either way, but I think it would make more sense to trade Armitage. He is 2 years older, would get us a higher draft pick and most importantly, we have the cattle coming through that can replace him in the midfield.

We are holding out for Freos first pick, a 50-50 chance they buy Rhys with it.
Personally I'm happy with Paddy or Petracca if we keep one, I just think Brayshaw has a limited ceiling and think that TMP is a little 'timid'.
If we take 4 and 7 I'd go LaVerde at 4 in a heartbeat and Lever at 7.

At least 13 has value

Whilst I realise other clubs' supporters will see pick 21 as overs for Stanley, I'm not sure I want us to let him go for that. (Having said that I would definitely do it for pick 14).

As others have said, Rhys has finally been able to play an injury free year in his best position and we are just starting to see the benefits of that. I have this horrible feeling that he will go to Geelong and be a very useful player for them.

Also, my Dad is a Geelong supporter and hopes Stanley doesn't end up at the Cattery.

Can't we both just be happy: St Kilda keeps Stanley and Geelong keeps pick 21.

Then I'm happy and my dad is happy. :)

Sounds like Rhys is gone though. :(
