Joel Selwood + Jessica Trengove just must get married + have eight father/sons for Geelong! :hearts::hearts::hearts: :rainbow: :footy: :rainbow: :hearts::hearts::hearts:
Why stop at 8???
When you're on a good thing, don't stop!

She's too little anyway- plus she didn't win. He's got to make himself known to the lady who won the event- she's a Commonwealth Games triathlete.

Hmmm- except for the time I almost drove the wrong way into incoming traffic while chatting away 19 to the dozen with my cousin. That was a bit scary.

Apart from that, though, it's a cinch.

Well then in that case, absolutely I will get a hire car!!:p

:D

Geeze, when I went to Florida in 2003, I actually got my international drivers license- dunno what I was thinking at the time. Florida apparently have some of the worst drivers, and the traffic was just scary, let alone the whole you are driving on the wrong side of the car and the road!!! Needless to say, I didnt use my international drivers license. :$

Hmmm, yeah, I wouldn't be keen on driving overseas. :( Only if I HAD to- and there are usually ways to avoid it. ;)

Seriously though, don't ever be afraid to drive in Adelaide. It's nothing like Melb. I hired a car to go to my uncle's funeral- didn't want to ask any of my cousins to collect me and drive me, as it was their Dad who'd passed away (though they would've done it if I'd asked). Got from the airport to my hotel in the city, through 5 pm traffic to the funeral parlour to catch my Aunt before she left, then back to the airport two days later in peak traffic and everything went smoothly. Peak hour in Adelaide is like Sunday driving in Melb. :)

Trust me, Shell. Adelaide is a piece of cake. Very little traffic. Very straightforward routes to anywhere and everywhere. Like driving in a country town in Victoria- albeit a big country town :)
Seriously.
It is pretty much a giant country town but from my experience buses rule over there and will pull out without warning.

Hey Shell

That'd be awesome if you could make it over. If you're flying over, I assume that you'll get a hire car? That is of course if you want to take in the scenery. If not, transfers from the airport to the city are aplenty.

What is the maximum amount of time you'd be looking to spend in SA? Depending on your specific plans, I'd be more than happy to advise you on how best to spend your time over here, however long that may be.

Feel free to PM me closer to the date as it is still nine months away!
Shell is bringing her chauffeur aka Kitty the Crazy Cat Lady :p Who will drive her around

Just to clarify, I hate driving in/to areas I dont know.
While I know Melbourne, it just scares me. :$

It's some stupid anxiety issue- but yeah will be fine catching PT, getting Kitty to drive me around. ;)
Strangled Cat ^^^ yep! *told you so* :p :D

OMG!!! How tragic is this? I have Telstra now at my new home + you automatically get a T-Box + therefore some Poxtel channels. I've had Poxtel for three weeks + today I'm going to watch the first programme - The Young + the Restless, which was cancelled from FTATV - three words - pig, p**p, happy :hearts:

Thanks barmy! Are you on Facebook? We've created an event lolz My friend will organise tickets for all of us to sit together, well those who would like to. Her SIL is on the Crows Board, so she will get seats in the Mark Ricciuto stand, for those interested.

I walked past it today, on my way to Allans. Then to the zoo where we saw pandas, and a live sloth crawling along the branch upside down about a metre away from us. I have an affinity with sloths.

[edit: not sure if the affinity is the sloping forehead, the green colour, the long nails, the dopey expression, the upside-down-ness or all of the above]

Setting up very early Kitty :D:thumbsu:

Had an excellent day today (sans Melbourne Cup result) with a wonderful drive east of Melbourne. There are so many good roads out there and such wonderful scenery that I'm tempted to move there :p

One road in particular surprised me by how narrow and windy it was, yet it had a 100km/h speed limit!

My route for today was: Healesville>Marysville>Lake Mountain Resort>Warburton>Mount Dandenong lookout. I do have photos and will post them soon.
