The evidence ASADA needs to demonstrate is:

• evidence of TB4 at EFC; but most importantly
• evidence of all 34 players being administered with TB4

You can't force the players to attend. They're not on bail.

If they wish not to attend, then you have to respect that choice. Personally I don't think its a choice I would make but it's their call.

I know if my career was on the line I would want to be front and centre

You have to have a vivid imagination to believe that, along with all the other mountains of circumstantial evidence.

Fair enough but then you'll need to get the original photo and have that examined to determine if it has any probitive value whatsoever. ie EXIF data etc. That wouldn't stand as proof but could be indicative. That said, the only value would be the label and that doesn't mean much on its own.

It also (to my comfortable satisfaction) removes the 'no significant fault or negligence' defence entirely.

It also shows that the players probably were complicit. Using "thymo" - without any suffix leads that they were deliberately being obtuse.

Maybe but it is so open to challenge that I'm not sure it has any meaning. Even a first year law student could shoot it to bits.

You're going to need a lot of supporting evidence to even get that one into evidence but as I've said all along, I don't know the full body of evidence so maybe there is enough to give that photo meaning.
