Those costs would also fall into football department spending which under the new equalization rules if we go over the limit we get taxed. Perth will have plenty of hot days to train in soon enough

Training in Melbourne just because it's warm is as silly as shaving your balls for the first time before going out on a hot date

I was asking because I've never seen West Coast train and thought it would be a good watch, not because it's going to be hot for the next week but just saying them training in the heat that's here at the moment would be good for them you dirty old pedo.

I'm confused, i thought you were against the idea, but then your analogy at the end indicates that you don't think it's silly?

Does West Coast ever do interstate training sessions?

Would be good to get them over to Melbourne with the intense heat coming.

Coz - it never gets 'warm' in Perth?

It is fairly well reported Melb teams dislike coming to Perth early in the season when the weather is warmer whereas our guys seem to run the game out well into the final quarter. Lack of warmer training weather is not an issue for us.

What if I just plain like how smooth it feels?

Who actually started this rumour I've heard it around.

A friend of a friend....nah just heard from a mate to listen out.

Hopefully just bs, looking forward to atleast 1 more big hit from BW!
Edit - must be BS - they surely would have announced it by now.

Had a quick chat with Colledge on New Years, he's a solid unit!

Said out of the new blokes Duggan will be the 1st to get a game. He also said that Sheed had a hamstring issue but is now flying and having a great preseason for DT. Really likes Simpson as a coach too!

With some good form in the WAFL Duggan could debut as a sub due to his flexibility.

Given he is of low age it's promising that his team mates rate him as closest to getting a game first.

Still have high hopes for Colledge given he's only just 20. Hope he can stay injury free this year.

Apparently DS has good flexibility according to the posts beforehand ;)...He must be close to getting a game?
I can just imagine him flaming himself after a mediocre performance and developing a vendetta.

As said before it would come under our football department spending and is the reason we have cancelled our recent training trips to Broome.

Which is ridiculous because the Eagles earning capacity and spending doesn't affect the poor sh1thouse clubs in Melbourne. There would be a greater percentage of Victorian fans in WA the interstate fans in Victoria. Thus they are probably limiting our earning capacity more than we theirs.

Also if we were to do a training camp it should be in rural WA to grow, strengthen and reward our fan base in the West.

Perth is not attractive to non WA players so the draft and the odd trade of expats is the only way the Eagles and Dockers can rebuild their lists.
Maybe not, but look at Freo and WC. Been able to keep nearly everyone from another state, Ebert, Stevens and Judd being the only notable exceptions.
