Yes. For Finch, those occasions are known as 'any time it's moving'. That's why he averages 28 in first-class cricket.
Hmm last time I checked an ODI is not a FC match. In ODI's over the last 18 months or so Finch has been our best performed batsmen. He failed today oh well, he'll bounce back.

You know, even one day cricket now bores me. Test cricket is where it's at.

ODIs themselves aren't boring, it's just that they lack context. The World Cup should hopefully be good, and the compressed Champions Trophy of recent years has been a really well run tournament. The problem is that no one cares who wins the tri-series, or the 5 match series we played against the Saffas, etc. The rankings are difficult to understand and don't mean much overall, therefore outside the main tournaments, the matches don't mean much.

ODI cricket needs an overhaul, tests cricket is the only format that is mostly well administered, even T20I is better administered than ODIs.

Have a look at history. Almost everyone who opens in ODIs does better than they have elsewhere.

I'm aboard nothing. He's incredibly, unbelievably lucky to still be playing. He owes big time.
Bailey is as well.

What? Bailey has been our best performed ODI batsman over the past 2 years.

Bailey hasn't been good or consistent enough in the lead-up to this WC. I agree with him being in the extended squad because of his potential, but Clarke and even Watson (eurgggh) will push him out of the XI

Also don't think he should've been captain. It's too much extra work to put on someone that needs to work on their own form

Maxwell does play that reverse sweep well, the sooner he learns that this is the point of his innings to play it and not in his first 20 balls, the better.

Clarke better not play, he's a near certainty to break down.
