Dumb shot from Porterfield there though, needed to bat through until about the 42nd, especially after the way they fell away aginst India. O'Brien needs to get himself in here, nothing stupid until they're pretty deep into the last 10. Make sure of 260 before they set their sights on 290.

Their batting depth is actually pretty good, Pakis just bowled too well (especially to K.O'Brien when he was trying to go after them). As they said on the commentary, if you can execute yorkers well, you still make it hard for batsmen to score.

Extra reason to hope for an Irish win tonight is that if they don't, we'll get Pakistan who are capable of anything.

The three are loosely, playing surface, off field turf practice facilities and off field amenities. There are no grounds outside of the MCG that currently meet the requirements - it's not a joke it's a fact. CV have been lobbying for years for an upgrade to the Junction so that they get that but also they want a 12 month facility, not sharing with St Kilda or Melbourne.
