I think they Learnt from last week and toned them down.


Didn't notice the countdown clock and to be honest I think the fireworks are a waste of money.

Where is the Cheersquad?

Well to be fair that was taken 10 minutes before the team ran out, so they were mostly out on the ground putting the banner up.

Apart from the cheersquad though the "barrackers end" was empty.

But most cheer squads are now, not just ours.

Has anyone even considered that maybe Collingwood supporters don't enjoy sitting next to the nuff nuff cheersquad and their boring chants?

Also, from a personal perspective, I don't particularly enjoy sitting behind the goals at the G or any ground for that matter. I'm sure there would be plenty of like minded Pies supporters out there.

Lastly, as for the COLLLIIINNGGGGWOOOOOD chant before the start of the match, it was simply cringeworthy, embarrassing, forced and a complete and utter waste of time. Get rid of the forced chant forever! It simply does not work. Hell, even put up signs "Forced chants of COLLLLIINNNGGGWOOOD before the match are strictly prohibited! Penalties up to $1000 or sleep with Joffa and his megaphone."

Most of the food has been reduced to $4, hot dogs, chips, pies, drinks (soft drinks, beer still costs an arm and a leg).

And I agree, anywhere near the wing is the best spot, on any of the first 3 levels.

I've always maintained we should be locating our social club and seating area in the Olympic stand, would give way better seats for a large group of our fans to sit together in.

Food seems Cheaper. Chips are nor $4 down from about $6.50

The whole point of the chant is that it is spontaneous at occurs during periods of the game when we are winning.

Commercializing it is just going to kill the whole thing.

I firmly believe our cheersquad is the worst in the AFL. They're seriously missing links. Need an overhaul of the clubs fan/supporter base a la Port Adelaide imo.

I don’t mind the Countdown Show pre-game but the Rest was boring and Terrible.

The Matt Preston starting the Chant was Simply Embarrassing

I don't mind behind the goal on the top level. The flanks to the wing are definitely my preferred options though
