"His Brownlow Medal was the symbol of that controversial year, as baying critics called for it to be ripped from his grasp and handed back to the AFL."

Baying critics like yourself, Jon? The same critic that openly called us drug cheats on twitter? **** off with the puff pieces mate.

Unless Ralph can't hear himself or read anything he writes. Which would explain a lot.

Maybe he's talking about Tim "Integrity" Lane.

our entire midfield was crap today. Jobe, Hepp, BJ, Stants, Melk..... they all did one or two things ok as individuals, but as team mates they were horse shite.

average game from Jobe, but a bad game from everyone in the wet.

Stants and hepp were excellent I thought
Stants was good in the second quarter, had a purple patch for 10 minutes. but overall nothing special.

Hepp, racked up a heap of possies and had a woeful 50% disposal efficiency. quantity over quality.

our midfield was not good today. our back line once again kept us in it. Hooker & Hurls way better

Jobe wasn't great today, but I tell you what.... when we got a run on in the second quarter, he did some amazing work in tight. lightning reaction and handballing.

He looked sore/injured.
Jobe was noticeably limping gingerly back to the centre square a few times. Wasn't able to make it to the contest like he normally would which gave a fit, young bloke like Crisp the chance to run forward off him.
The commentators made a comment in relation to him looking injured in the 2nd quarter (I think). They speculated on a corky or even an issue with his hip flexor

The booing of Jobe by Collingwood fans was disgusting. They really need to get over the verdict.
They really need to remember that two of their own could be in big trouble. I guess some people just don't have a clue in life, unfortunately.

perhaps he's carrying too much weight on his scalp? needs to get a haircut
he's looked unfit this season tbh. one of his rare forgettable games yesterday.
he didn't start well and didn't fight his way back like he normally would.
