There is questioning if he is the right person and then there there is attacking the man. Some cross the line IMO. While he is with us we should back him.

Some cross the imaginary line by typing too harsh of words on the internet?

People are emotionally invested in the side, Brad is a figure head, I would suggest that negative reaction towards the coach when we have issues that persist is actually pretty normal.

The point of that particular post was that Scott is very much a middle of the road coach. Whether he listed Beveridge as better, equal or worse doesn't really change that.

Yet we finished top 4. Good for middle of the road.

If the bloke isnt on thin ice he should be. Gutless, souless performances from a list that he has had 6 years to work with are no where near good enough.

Attacking the person is poor form but he should be bloody accountable for the insipid efforts we have seen so far this year. I for one expected more belief from this team and we ain't getting that.

We finished top four under Laidley too - not sure anyone would rank him at the top end of coaches. A one off finish doesn't really prove anything, the real acid test is whether we build on it and go to the next level. Instead we have gone quite a way backwards.

Why did Waite who had niggles in the lead up play and Maj didn't?

Why does Mullett have to prove form in the VFL when JMac is an auto inclusion or Robbie was brought back in off half a game last year?

Yeah there is a heap of it on the players.

There is just as much on the coaches.

The umpires is a lame excuse.

What am I optimistic about? Sacking the coach won't make us as good as Freo, Swans and the Hawks. There is no garentees that we improve - we could be even worse.

When was the last time that a Club had an underperforming side (which is what we have) that sacked all its players?

You're probably right, but that doesn't excuse those blokes not putting in getting continued games.

We need to make some balls out decisions, am not sure our club is brave enough to do so.

I am a massive advocate of letting a season settle before making any big calls on teams but i have zero faith that the pathetic showings by this club this year are not something that will just go away as the season progresses.

Scott has 10 weeks to get this team to play with some application to AFL standard. It is an indictment on him and the players that Melbourne and the Dogs both show more intensity in effort than us. If by then we haven't shown an ability to be consistently ruthless then Scott should just get off the pot because both he and the players will be just wasting their time.

Supporters support. Don't blame the players.

Coaches are not precious. If a coach has lost the players, such as with Malthouse or seemingly Eade, surely they are open to criticism. We are all castigating the *donialists for supporting their coach.

From my vantage point, which is arguably pretty distant, Scott is coaching poorly. Yes, most of the players, individually, have form, discipline, and skill issues to deal with. But when the teamwork, decision making, intensity, and discipline are struggling across the board, this reflects on the coaches as a group. But the buck does stop with the coaching generalissimo. Hopefully injuries and form will sort themselves out, but Brad has to give this side a shakeup. He should be in the gun too.

The signs are awful. the clock is ticking for brad Scott.

Its a ****ing joke eh?

I dont want players dropped because the 2's players might be better, i want players dropped so they know and understand there is a minimum standard that must be upheld when you put on a NMFC jumper. Missed tackles, arm tackles, non efforts, wayward disposal, perceived pressure mistakes, lack of shepherding should be dissected, shown and shown again to the playing group. Its not the mistakes, its the consistency in the mistakes. Its like they arnt learning a ****ing thing at training.

The bar is set way to low for this group. There is no discipline in their play, there is no emotion, there is no leadership.

I want Brad gone, whether at the bye week or seasons end.

The Hawthorn game was it for me- 3 60 point bashings within 6 games with more to come one would suspect.
