Yeah my Nan died a couple of years ago, but she lived in her family home in West Footscray/Kingsville for the best part of 60 years, used to walk or catch the bus up Geelong Rd to the Western Oval with her when I was a little kid, or the train to Optus Oval/MCG.

My Nanna used to walk to morrabbin every home game.

Only went to 1 game with her however which is sad,

Even got a lift to Waverley one day with Mum by one of the saints players. They were waiting at the bus stop and whoever it was (can't remember the name at the moment) Pulled up as asked them if they wanted a lift!
